Grandma's 5 golden coins

optimistic pills of life

By TestPublished 2 years ago Updated 2 years ago 3 min read

I was so excited to visit my grandma's house on my vacation. I was very happy and made all my plans to go to my grandma's house, which was located in a peaceful seashore area, where I felt all my worries were fleeing in the seashore air.

After my work got over, I stepped onto the train, enjoying the scenery while going. Time flew by, and I reached my grandmother's place, where the smell of the salty sea and the breeze from the sea made me feel like I was alive. I reached my grandmother's home.

I knocked on the door.

After a delicious sapper in the moonlight, here begins my collection of golden coins from my grandmother.

Grandmother: How was your work going on, my sister?

Myself: I ranted all my stuff.

Grandmother: keep all your worries aside and let me narrate a story for you. Are you ready to listen?

Myself: hurray! I was so excited.

Grandmother: Here, a boy was constantly worrying about the final exam. Do you think constantly worrying will change his final outcome?

Myself: No; instead, he should start focusing on preparations and strategies for good results.

Grandmother: Here you got the answer, which you were told before, that you are going to get scolded by your boss for the mistake you made before the vaccination, so stop worrying about it and prepare yourself to face it.

Myself: Here I got my first coin.

Coin 1

Stop Worrying and Start Preparing

Grandmother: If that boy keeps on worrying about what will happen to him, what are the consequences he will undergo?

Myself: He will have insomnia, irritability, anxiety, depression, and so on. I read it in an article.

Grandmother: So you know it, but you didn't take a step.

Myself: Oops, I missed it. Now I got my second coin.

Coin 2

Mental health is as important as physical health.

The next day morning, we went to walk in the seashore. As my grandmother was tired from walking, she sat in the sand near the beach. I went near the waves, and I saw a little boy crying, which reminded me of my childhood, when I was telling my grandmother that I was having an exam tomorrow, so let me go home. My grandmother grabbed my hand and told me you have two days for the exam, so don't worry about the exam. Relax, my dear, and enjoy the play today. Here I grabbed my third coin, which I was not able to understand in my childhood.

Coin 3

Live in the present

The day came where I had to go back to my busy, working, and polluted city. My grandmother accompanied with me to the train station on the way our autorickshaw got returned. I was very tensed and yelled at Driver, and I asked him how long it took, and I looked at my grandmother, who, with a little smile on her face, came out and asked me to accompany her for a cup of coffee. We went near the shop; accidentally, accidently we met my childhood friend, and we three had a good time together.

On the way to rickshaw, my grandmother told me that if something is not going the way we planned, the universe will have a better plan. Here I grabbed my fourth coin.

Coin 4

Acceptance is the road to change.

We reached the railway station, and my grandmother told me you should remember that when you feel anxious, nervous, or angry about something, you must do relaxing exercises like deep breathing techniques and positive visualization. My final golden coin.

Coin 5

     Everyday is a second chance

I went back to my city with my grandmother's precious golden coins. I hope you all also grabbed the few coins; if so, ?let me know.
