Christ Consciousness

Understanding the TRUE Meaning of ONENESS

By Horace WaslandPublished 9 months ago 3 min read

Most of us grew up with a very defined image of Jesus. The bearded man is in a white robe, arms open, and heart aglow. We were told he was the Son of God, the saviour, the miracle worker. But what if this figure, so often portrayed as outside of us—was actually a mirror? What if his teachings weren't about worshipping him, but about becoming like him? That’s where the concept of Christ Consciousness and the true meaning of Oneness starts to unfold.

Let me take you there.

What Is Christ Consciousness?

Christ Consciousness isn’t a religion. It’s not a new-age trend. It’s not even limited to the historical Jesus. At its core, Christ Consciousness is a state of being, a level of spiritual awareness rooted in Oneness, compassion, and sovereignty.

It’s the deep, soul-level understanding that you are not separate from the Divine. You are it. Not in some blasphemous or egotistical sense, but in a “drop of the ocean that is the ocean” kind of way. Christ Consciousness means you’ve awakened to this truth. You’ve stepped beyond fear-based duality—good vs evil, right vs wrong, me vs you—and returned to wholeness. Unity. Balance.

Jesus Wasn’t Just a Savior—He Was a Teacher of Consciousness

When Jesus said things like, “I did not come to bring peace, but a sword”, it wasn’t about violence. It was symbolic. He came to divide illusion from truth. To shake the roots of conditioned reality. When he said, “He who does not take up his cross is not worthy of me,” he meant the spiritual path requires radical honesty, responsibility, and inner transformation.

Jesus was showing us how to integrate both masculine and feminine energies within. Logic and intuition. Action and compassion. Protection and nurturing. These aren’t just gender traits; they are archetypal energies that exist in all of us. And when they’re in conflict, we experience division, anxiety, inner war. But when they’re balanced? That’s where true sovereignty is born.

Why Oneness Matters Now More Than Ever

We live in a world drowning in separation. Us vs them. Political lines. Cultural wars. Even the spiritual community can get caught up in the illusion of hierarchy—placing gurus, angels, and “higher beings” on pedestals while forgetting the divine within.

But Oneness doesn’t mean uniformity. It’s not about everyone thinking the same. It’s about embracing nuance, complexity, and interconnection. It’s about remembering that we are all fractals of the same Source.

To know Oneness is not to intellectually agree with the idea of unity. It’s to experience it—to feel it in your cells, your breath, your interactions. It’s to live as though everything you do to another, you do to yourself.

Christ Consciousness = Free Will = True Power

Here’s the deeper truth: most of us are living in default mode. Conditioned. Reactive. Operating from karma—a loop of past actions and inherited beliefs. But when we activate our inner wholeness, we access something more powerful than reaction. We access choice.

This is Dharma. This is conscious action. It’s no longer pushing buttons on the karmic vending machine and hoping for a different snack. It’s realizing you’re the one who built the machine—and you can change the settings.

Christ Consciousness is not about having the “right” beliefs. It’s about living in such alignment that every thought, every emotion, every action flows from your highest Self. And that Self isn’t separate from God. It is God—in human form.

The Trap of the “False Light”

We can’t talk about Christ Consciousness without addressing the false light. This is the system—seen and unseen—that tricks us into spiritual amnesia. It’s the one that says you’re unworthy unless you prove yourself, repent endlessly, or beg a higher being for mercy.

But any force that demands worship or submission while denying your inner Divinity is not the Light. The real Light uplifts. It empowers. It reminds you that true holiness is within. You don’t need to kneel before it—you need to merge with it.

So… What Now?

The path to Christ Consciousness isn’t easy. It’s not performative. It’s intimate. It requires you to examine every corner of your being—the wounds, the masks, the defenses—and integrate them with compassion.

Start by observing your inner duality. Where are you still in battle with yourself? Where do you suppress your intuition? Where have you handed over your power?

Then begin merging. Meditate. Reflect. Allow your thoughts and feelings to converse rather than clash. Think of it as divine inner diplomacy. Over time, the split closes. Your choices become deliberate. Your heart, unguarded. Your voice, aligned with truth.

And most importantly, you remember: Christ was never meant to be followed blindly. He came to awaken you. To show you that the Kingdom of Heaven is within. That you are the miracle. You are the Light.
