Benefits of Working Out with the Indian Club-Bell
Spin Left and Spin Right, and Open The Energy Channels in Your Spine

I bought a clubbell. It appears pink on the surface, calm and gentle, but it can make me turn red with the movements. It heats you from within, fires your metabolism and makes you sweat like crazy.
Some clubbells have colors that represent the different weight classes. I choose a moderate weight so that I can learn and master the proper movements.
I've been using the Indian clubbell for some time now for my regular workouts, and I'd like to share some of my experiences with using it.
The range of motion used in the clubbell makes the clubbell heavier to work with even when it is the same weight as the dumbbells. For example, you can lift a 20-pound dumbbell quite easily, but lifting a 20-pound clubbell may seem like moving a mountain. Clubbell works by moving in different directions and hitting different fibres of the body.
Clubbells are great for rehabilitation, building upper body strength, and flexibility.
Clubbells are useful when recovering from sports injuries, working on muscular imbalances, and relieving muscle weakness or tension in the body.
Clubbells strengthen muscles, tendons, joints, and ligaments. They make a good cardio workout too.
Clubbells strengthen your spine and give you a good posture. In yogi philosophy, a strong and healthy spine helps in clearing blockages in the mental and physical bodies. Therefore, clubbells make you physically and mentally fit.
Many exercises can be done with the clubbell. The most common one is the shield cast. You can watch these videos to learn the shield cast and some simple movements.
If your clubbell is too heavy, you can do the shield cast with both hands. If you're training with clubbells for the first time or are a beginner in doing workouts, it's good to start with lighter clubbells.
Clubbells train all parts of the back, arms, shoulders, chest, traps, and core. You can also use clubbells to do squats.
Before training, it is good to keep in mind some safety tips when using the clubbell.
Here are some tips:
1. Be mindful of sweaty hands or palms. Clubbells are heavy. We don't want them to slip and fall on our bodies.
2. Never start off by trying extremely heavy clubbells. If we get too heavy, we'll perform bad movements without proper form. We'll never hit the muscles properly and end up injuring ourselves.
3. Master the movements. Get used to the movements and learn to move in the correct, steady and safe way. Once you get the hang of it, you can do other different exercises with the clubbell to hit different muscle groups.
4. Warm-up before using the clubbells. Warming up is highly recommended for all exercises and this is also true for training with the clubbell.
5. Never use heavy club bells when you're too tired and exhausted. We want to avoid all injuries. Fatigue leads to lack of concentration, improper form and injury.
You can use these three methods to reap great benefits from your exercise:
1. Add volume gradually. Increase your reps to 4, 6, 8, 12……. For example, if you're doing 2 sets of 8 repetitions each, two to four weeks later, start doing 2 sets of 10 repetitions.
2. Do a progressive overload. Increase the weight of the clubbell as you progress in strength. You can move from 15 pounds, 20 pounds to 25 pounds….
3. Workout using time under tension. Shorten your rest intervals between sets to burn more calories.
This exercise can be performed by males and females. It is good to consult a doctor's advice before doing any activity if you are under medical compliance.
Gripping the clubbell and keeping it in your control when performing the challenging movements requires lots of focus and practice. Similarly, when dealing with life challenges, control, focus and practice are needed.
Training with clubbells gives stability to the body and develops clarity in the mind.
Strengthen and heal your mind and body, and grow your fitness level with clubbells. Do add in a healthy and balanced diet and quality sleep to achieve the best results.
