A New Beginning

I am Mae, a 19 year old college student who considers themselves a witch. I started doing witchcraft officially a few months ago, towards the end of January. Even though this, I technically did a lot of things on accident before this without knowing starting when I was 5. Though I do not fully call myself this, I am a medium and going to be starting to get these abilities able based on the fact I have 7 spirits around me and I am starting to realize that I can not just up and ignore them. Isn't that fun :frowning:.

I began when Covid-19 began ruining my life and I was stuck alone with nothing to do. I heard of witchcraft through to of my friends. One of them was my co-worker named Faith. We were really close friends and when she started she was very vocal about it, and changed her mind rather quickly. She started with a pendalum ( a type of divination tool for yes and no questions) she bought, a gemstone. One day she brought it to work, and we were talking, and curious me was asking a lot of questions. So ultimately she explained what witchcraft was, a craft of making spells through the channelling of nature and the unltimate being of self. I was like cool at the time, thinking of the possibility of joining.

Then she shoved the pendalum she had into my hand, told me to channel energy into it, and I did. Then I held it up and began to ask questions as she instructed. As I did the pendalum began swinging, forward for yes, side to side for no.

In the end she was surprised, not only at the fact I managed to channel my energy into the pendalum as it was full of her energy, that it also worked. She looked at me and said, "Yes you should definitely become a witch, you have a lot of potential. " Even though she said this I wasn't positive about the subject at all. I didn't even know what exactly she meant to be honest.

But now I do know what she meant. Any one can become a witch but some hold more energy and need for the practice. I held it because of my mom was a witch, as it can be hereditary, but also with the other soul type I apparently am. Even though I am not sure what this soul type actually is.

My second greatest influence was my roommate who also called herself a witch. Her practices included crushing up eggshells for protection, an ouji bourd (I've used an ouji bourd on multiple occassions and will explain more about the rules of it in another post. ) and black magic. This is where I learned the most about the craft, the practices and what you can do, only helping to influence my desicion later on. Even though this, I do not practice black magic.

So, in my boredom at home I began with protection spells. In starting my practice I had more spirits come to me than ever before. I started on the wrong hand though, starting with spells of protection, little to no research, and no energy work. I also started following my first diety, well a trickster pretending to be Apollo, and then I began following Hades,and got pulled into a group ran by a diety lieing, and then pulled into a realm of fake tricksters, before learning what I should really be focusing on and the craft properly. (I will explain all this more later). I also had a roommate that went insane with the number of spirits that came that he could sense, and they all started messing with him, in response he'd do idiotic things like keep the oven open to "Burn the demons away." (which again is off topic)

I began doing tarot and oracle cards also, and used a pendalum for my divination. (If you want or need a reading pm me)

In reality my adventure into ESP started long before all of this without me even knowing. At Ten-thirteen I accidentally developed telepathy, and had no idea. I was sitting in class, and didn't know the answer to a question, looked at a fellow classmate and somehow read his mind. (He was thinking about fried waffles and not paying attention) From there it escalated till I learned to turn it off/ control it. I devoloped fire kinisis at this age also, and had a lot of fun with that also. I have always been able to see spirits with my third eye, and sense them, and when I was 15 got clairaudience.

I was panicing so much, my girlfriend called me crazy and insane and every where I'd go I'd hear whispers, entities calling my name and so on.

I have also always been a empath on humans and took peoples negetive energy that I was around and attracted more on that and just realized recently. Now that I have been getting into the craft recently and correctly through meditation, I have the ability to empath objects and plants (and talk but that part for objects souls developed a while ago). I hate it so much, but for now that is all and how I began!
