I once worked with someone who got promoted quickly. Many people jealously say that she has a background and someone to support her, so she has risen quickly, but I don't agree.

I remember that there was a time when my computer always had problems, in fact, it could be used again if it was repaired, but because the memory was too small, it was not dead, it was card machine.

After this colleague found out, he actually offered to exchange my computer with me. You know, at that time, everyone protected their computers very well, for fear that others would use them, let alone change them with others. But she said, I don't use it often, so it doesn't matter if the computer runs a little slower, but you have to organize the data often, and it is faster and more convenient to use mine.

But then I said no because I thought it was really generous of her to say that, but she actually used the computer more than I did. If I did, it would be very unkind.

Then she left for a bigger company and a bigger leadership role. But the computer thing let me understand a truth: The gap between people and people, sometimes really is not how high IQ, emotional intelligence is how strong, but how big the pattern.

I have met two interns who graduated from the same university and joined us as interns.

At the beginning, the first intern, always no initiative, the boss arranged a thing, he did a thing. The boss arranged for him to buy a notebook, he really only buy the book, can not think whether the boss is still short of pen. But the second intern, he was very spiritual.

Usually in the work, the first intern, is always: I only took one thousand dollars of internship wages, only do one thousand dollars of work. And the second intern, always not afraid of overtime, not afraid of hardship, not only quickly and well to finish their own work, but also take the initiative to help others work. As a result, many of my colleagues trusted him to do many things.

As a result, the second intern, in additional work and processes, quickly mastered the development of the entire company's operations and quickly became a versatile talent who could take charge of his own. By the time I left, he was already vice president.

My colleagues are saying that the second intern is particularly smart, many things do not need to be arranged by the leader, and he can hold things in his eyes and heart.

In fact, I think it is not because he is smart, but because he knows that he is working hard for himself. A mistake many people make at the beginning of their careers is to work as much as your boss pays you a month. Do a little more work, feel like a disadvantage.

But people who really can become big, will help others with the attitude of the master, until they have accumulated experience and have the ability, even if they are not promoted in this company, they will have a promising future.

Three workers were building a wall at the construction site. Someone asked them what they were doing. The first man said angrily, "Build a wall, don't you see?" The second man smiled. "We're building a tall building." A third man smiled broadly. "We are building a new city." Ten years later, the first person is still building walls, the second is an engineer, and the third is the boss of the first two.

Many people go to work and feel that they are working for the boss, working hard, making money. But the future bosses, leaders and entrepreneurs, while they are employees, although they are doing someone else's work and solving someone else's problems, they are actually constantly improving themselves, working for themselves, working hard for themselves, and accumulating power for themselves.

In the end, you will find that a person's future depends on the pattern.
