Waking up on a king bed for my future cats and dog to accommodate along with the plushies that I will currently have on my bed to be around my house.
Opening the curtains letting the sun to the quiet street and a beautiful vista type view.
A getaway from the city but close enough where you can go into the city.
I want a reading nook where I can read my hardcover books in the sun with a cat in my lap taking in the sun rays.
Storage for my knick-knacks that I love collecting and hoarding...
Every corner is filled with small furniture to fill in space.
The walls will have different types of paintings and photo frames.
An office where I write all day long where it becomes a studio where I can do what my creative heart desires.
A backyard with a hammock being held by two large trees from both ends.
A large lemon tree, a garden filled with fresh produce and blooming flowers that change with the seasons.
They say manifesting what you want can come true.
It’s a small and cosy home enough for two people to live in and a guest room. The slow life is hypnotising and minimal living the what people are leaning towards. The CBD is where opportunities are and where the jobs are located
House ownership isn’t high on my list of priorities since I’m still living my parents but I do have an interest in houses. I love observing houses and it has become a hobby in lockdown where I would judge the houses in my neighbourhood. I am an avid fan of watching people house-hunt on Youtube even if I’m not subscribed to them. The thrill and sheer excitement to find the ‘one’ are on par with finding your soulmate.
I love the idea of interior decorating and would love for someday to try it on a clean slate. I remember playing interior decorating games when I was younger and transitioning to phone apps where you do challenges to decorate rooms in houses.
Frankly, I want to live comfortably but where it feels homely. A sizeable house with around 3 bedrooms would be enough for me. I would love a single-story house because I get lazy going up and downstairs. It's stupid but when it's freezing cold, I would like to stay under my blanket to hide from the cold.
I want to display my favourite books and decorations that I love looking at.
I want a reading nook where I can read my hardcover books in the sun with a cat in my lap taking in the sun rays.
This would also be a great space for day naps because everyone loves napping.
Shelves for all the books that serve as decoration and things that can be displayed.
A photo wall and photo frames filling in the spaces along with paintings.
I want a walk-in closet filled with the clothes that I want and the wall of my wishlist of designer bags that I dream of getting. It's somewhat materialistic but I only wish to have a capsule collection of designer bags.
I would love the extra facilities that a mansion or larger house offers but knowing what I want in the future with living with dogs and cats. There’s a lot to do with a house with many spaces.
Would I like a small movie theatre? or a bowling alley?
There are many options for entertainment areas and to play around with interior decoring.
A pool? Two pools? Indoor and Outdoor?
I would be too indecisive and want everything in my mansion if I was given the choice to.
My ideal home may change in the future but I'm all for a smaller home. I don't know if I will own a house but I do hope to have the chance to own one.
A girl can dream, yeah?
