Someone referred to this World as "Beautiful Chaos", and I tend to agree, because there's undaunted freedom within Chaos, who can direct or restrain it?, but there are some who dare to try. All I have to do is turn on the World News or check my Google Feed to assess the turmoil. We've recently gained some "breathing room", no pun intended, from the Co-vid 19 Pandemic, only to be accosted by this new strain or variant on the horizon, and there's this huge push for everyone to get vaccinated, not to mention other Natural Disasters wrought by Mother Nature, with flooding and Tropical Storms popping up all over the Globe, as Human Beings respond to the unrest of life on the Planet, staging Protests in rebellion to World Systems that continue to disappoint.
As the World divulges deeper into this beautiful madness, learning how to unplug, from the hustle and bustle of it all and finding some repose from it, through seeking inner peace is ardently welcome. It's easy enough to find this repose in simple, but effective activities, that relieves the mind and thoughts of the stress and overthinking. I've been a Stay at Home Mom since I had my last daughter, but that does not mean that I'm unfamiliar with the system and how it operates. Normal Standards of daily living which includes working forty hours or more per week to earn a weekly, bi-weekly or monthly paycheck, and vacation time once or twice a year, paying bills and keeping a positive bank balance, and attitude, until the day one retires. Of course, it doesn't end there, one is subject to doing what is expected of Retirees, which includes activities such as Golfing, being Awesome Grandparents, Volunteering with different Institutions or Organizations, or on the unpleasant side, being left at a Retirement Home, until Senility, Illness, Insanity or Death provides a permanent escape from all of it. Either way, all is Energy, our Human form returns to formlessness, and the cycle of life continues.
Most people, even those who have formidable careers that demand a lot of time, will make an effort to prioritize Family. It's no easy feat to work fulltime, and in some cases overtime, and juggle everything that comes along with the responsibility of being a great Parent and Compatible Life Partner. Everyone usually depends on the Matriarch of the Family to keep things running smoothly and in order. Whether helping with Homework or some urgent Class Project or making sure everyone is on time for Extra Curricular Activities, preparing meals, and making sure everyone has clean laundry and clean bedrooms, in addition, Mothers are also part-time Psychiatrists, who look after the emotional and mental well being of the Family, indeed, we wear many hats.
Finding Inner Peace for Me, is grabbing moments for Myself when everyone is settled in for the night, or pre-occupied with their own interests. I like the words "Me Time", because I get to sit or lie down in a quiet space and do something that helps me to unplug and unwind. I detach from the Chaos of daily life, by plugging in my Ear-buds, and deep-diving into Theta Waves, humming tranquilly form my I-PAD, or I may tune into soothing Frequencies with Peaceful Tones that arrest my thoughts like a quiet stream flowing through a sunlit forest on a warm Summer day.
I see Myself as an "Energy Surfer" dissolving in an Ocean of Pure Energy. Energy to energy, Formlessness to Form, I flow freely in its beautiful chaotic embrace. In this created space, I'm connected to the energy of Peace, and Ethereal Bliss fills my whole Being. I like that there's no negativity in this quiet space, as I watch my thoughts gather and disperse like playful fishes in a lucid pond. These Energies, that we ignore and take for granted in our daily lives, flowing infinitely from Source, or God or The Higher Self. For the most part, I find Myself drawn to Holistic and Spiritual activities, but meditating quietly is my favorite by far.
I could write about the simple pleasures of a relaxing hot bath, surrounded by scented candles, with Duduk Musical tones flowing gently from my speaker, while tiny iridescent bubbles caress my body and calm mind, or curling up in a cozy corner, a glass of wine in one hand and my pen in the other, journaling about my day in my Diary, about different things in my life, or walking a sandy white trail around a calming lake, breathing in the fresh air, as the sunlight warms my skin. These simple but effective activities that provide sweet repose from the craziness of the day, taught me that wealth and abundance are not only found in material gain, but they can also be found in peaceful moments that allows one to replenish the body, mind and soul, by finding Inner Peace.
