Music definitely is embedded in the life and memories of souls evoking emotions associated with momentous events that happened in melodramatic lyrics in almost every life. It is during reminiscing about past years that it comes to my knowledge how the impact of particular songs really matters in my life journey. Here, I present to you the ten songs that emphasize my journey from an early age to today.

1. I would say the earliest memory is "Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star," the most timeless nursery rhyme ever. The experience of growing up became very joyous and full of wonders through a tad bit of discovering the world. My mother had put this sweet song to wake me from sleeping in nightly hours and it became a soothing influence from childhood onwards. It's a song of innocence and curiosity, magical nature of children's imagination turns into....

2. Disney was a huge influence on my childhood memories in the 90s, their epic song being mostly "Hakunya Matata." It was a kind of defined laid-back happiness and adventure. I can still imagine singing it along with my cousins during summer vacation all under the mantra of "no worries" within the song. That was an era of complete fun and innocence when I would be more able to enjoy the childhood fantasies they represented.

3. Change and progress marked my middle school time. Graduation was the official soundtrack I added to resonate my emotions as I, with full nostalgia, took tight hugs with my childhood friends as all prepared and ready for the next step in life. During our farewell party, this familiar song played and coincidentally, its lyrics spoke of that bittersweet moment of leaving behind, but not forgotten, memories.

4. My life as a teenager can easily be defined by that persistent search for self. From the very start Linkin Park's "Numb" would touch me greatly because I outstripped myself in trying to balance between my own needs and using those of others. I made a confession or gave a voice to my feelings and sought my comfort in those highly energizing lyrics and the power of the song.

5. Like many others, my first experience with heartbreak was a near-death experience. Coldplay's "Fix You" provided a soothing soundtrack to my long nights, leaving me feeling emotional and filled with tears. It was uplifting. It's a good song, full of hope and healing messages... It reminds me that there is always pain in the dark places. How true is it?

6. The process of entering adulthood was a mix of exciting and challenging experiences. Eminem's "Lose Yourself" became my go-to song for fearlessness and resilience. Its lyrics motivated me to take risks and face challenges, as it served as a reminder that "doing good requires taking risks.".

7. During my journey of discovering the world, realizing my dreams and embarking on novel adventures with "Viva La Vida", I experienced a sense of wonderment. My journey of self-discovery and personal growth was reflected in the song's beautiful melody, with its reflective lyrics.

8. For the first time, there was a sense of longing and nostalgia. "Photograph" by Ed Sheeran served as a reminder of the love and care I felt towards my family, which became my go-to song when I was not home. It changed me completely. It's a tender reminder of the bonds that keep us connected, regardless of our location.

9. I'm a resilient person who embraces the challenges of life, as demonstrated in "Believer" by Imagine Dragon. The rhythm and inspiring lyrics of this song serve as a reminder that challenges can lead to personal growth.'

10. Today, "A Sky Full of Stars" reflects my life as it is: gratefulness, joy... and living in the moment. » The melody of this song fills me with a sense of hope and gratitude for the beauty that surrounds us. The reminder to live in the present and dreaming for the future is a good one.

A sorrowful tale of loss.

Among these songs of hope and optimism, there's also a dark melody that plays along with my life. Eric Clapton's song "Tears in Heaven" resonates with my grandfather' ashes. The loss of him was a pivotal moment in my life, as his wisdom and kindness had never been more apparent to me than when he passed away.

I remember the first time I heard "Tears in Heaven" and how the emotional lyrics and sweet melody mirrored my heartbreak. I would listen to it in quiet moments, feeling comforted by its gentle acknowledgement of my sorrow. The song taught me that grief is not solely about letting go of those we love, but rather about finding the strength to hold on.

Losing my grandfather was a major turning point in my life, as it taught me the importance of being with oneself and showing love when necessary. "Tears in Heaven" is still reliving the experience to this day, highlighting the strength of human bonds and the power to move forward.

The Power of Music.

These are all songs that capture the essence of my life, including emotions, milestones and lessons learned along the way. "... The transcendence of music lies in the ability to recall memories and emotions with just a few notes. This is what music can do.
