I like to be in the middle of life, connected, engaged, part of the world.
But every now and then, I also enjoy retreating into my own space. A place of quiet reflection, where I can listen to what really matters.
In my work within network marketing, my days are filled with connecting. Messaging, emailing, talking — it’s what I do. Strike up a conversation, as we say. And honestly, I love it. Every conversation opens a new window into someone’s story, their energy, their hopes.
But what strikes me most these days is how society actually works — or perhaps how it doesn’t. Always on the move but no progress.
After 22 years in the social domain, I’ve seen how many people keep moving, working, and surviving… without ever really living.
Recently, I had an inspiring talk with a good friend of mine, a true veteran in the social field. And after so many years, I guess I can call myself one too.
Two years ago, I reached a turning point.
After twenty years of consultancy and two years in a permanent job, I saw no way forward. I felt stuck in circles — doing more, but achieving less meaning. I’ve always had a deep inner drive to grow, to evolve, but within the social system, I couldn’t see that path anymore.
So, I decided to explore something new. And oh boy, what a revelation that became. Those who’ve been following me for a while know what I mean. Not only did I change, but I started seeing the same pattern everywhere, people running in circles, without any real perspective.
“Who, me?” I can almost hear you ask. Yes, you.
You might say: I have perspective, I’m working toward my pension.
But when is that? At 67? And then what? You finally get to “enjoy life” when most of it is already behind you?
What about now?
Wouldn’t you rather feel free today?
I see so many people on the edge of burnout, not because they’re lazy, but because they’re chasing someone else’s dream. Living by society’s blueprint instead of their own.
One of my favorite questions to ask people is simple but powerful:
“What would you do if money played no role?”
And then comes the silence. Followed by:
“Yeah, but that’s a dream scenario…” No, it’s not. That’s the power of dreaming. Somewhere along the way, we stopped dreaming.
We replaced curiosity with comfort. Vision with routine.
And when we stop dreaming, we quietly abandon our future self, the version of us that still believes in possibilities.
Here’s what I’ve learned: reality is shaped by thought. Everything we see, feel, or experience starts as an idea, a spark in the mind. When we ignore that inner voice, we disconnect from the source of creation itself.
You can, of course, keep working and saving a little each month. But when will that ever be enough to do what you truly want?
When will you be enough to live your dream?
In my experience, the first step toward freedom, financial or personal, begins with education.
The second step is inspired action.
And the third? Belief. Belief that your dreams are not fantasies, but blueprints for what’s possible.
So let me ask you this:
What's your dream?
And more importantly, when will you start living it?
Sometimes, all it takes is one honest question to wake up your imagination.
And maybe… this was it.
