Shungite for Water
Water is the essence of life — a substance so simple and yet so powerful that every living being depends on it for survival, renewal, and vitality.

To quench thirst, humans drink countless liquids—juices, milk, beer, and many more creations from throughout history. Yet among them, the only truly natural and pure liquid remains water. It is the basis of all beverages and the best medium for regulating metabolism, which makes water vital to our health.
Not all water is alike: some feels vibrant and refreshing, while other water tastes flat and lifeless. Though two samples may share the same chemical makeup, water’s energetic quality can differ dramatically. Water interacts with its environment in complex ways, which can influence its structure, taste, and overall characteristics.
Shungite infuses water with positive energy. Drinking Shungite water replenishes vitality and brings a sense of renewed balance and strength.
Origins of Shungite Water
Our Shungite stones come exclusively from the Republic of Karelia in northwest Russia, a land of pristine lakes and springs near the Finnish border. Natural Shungite deposits enrich the water there, contributing to its purity and vitality.
The ancient Karelian people understood this long ago. For centuries, Shungite has been valued as both a protective stone and a purifier. Records from the 17th century describe its use for water purification. According to legend, the founder of the Romanov dynasty was born after his mother’s Shungite treatment. Later, in 1719, Peter the Great established Russia’s first spa, Martial Waters, at Karelian Shungite springs.
Today, just as in the past, living, energized water remains a rare treasure.
Purifying Water with Shungite
Shungite offers a natural way to improve water energetically, restoring harmony and vitality. Its unique property of not absorbing negative energy makes it ideal for this purpose.
You can easily prepare Shungite water at home using a glass container and still (non-carbonated) water.
Direct contact method:
Add rinsed Shungite stones directly to the water. Let them stand in a shaded, quiet place for up to 72 hours, then remove the stones. The water is ready to drink. Tiny black particles may appear—these are harmless traces of the stone.
Indirect method:
Place the stones inside a small glass, vial, or test tube submerged in water. The energy transfers without direct contact—ideal for combining Shungite with other stones.
On a Shungite plate:
You can also place a glass or jug of water on a Shungite plate for several hours to imbue it with energy.
