Make Steps And Get Paid!
Earn Money and Prizes From Walking

It would be fantastic if walking resulted in cash or other benefits beyond race t-shirts and medals. You could already be tracking your walking with a pedometer app. Some of these apps allow you to convert your walks into cash, savings, or donations to charities. Although you won't be able to quit your day job, it's good to get paid for your work. That ought to help you get past your excuses for walking.
1. FitPotato
The FitPotato app allows you to challenge friends and other users to earn money for steps taken. There are weekly prize groups available, and in order to win, you must complete three step sessions within seven days. You have the option of walking, running, or walking your dog during your session.
Anyone who completes all three sessions within seven days will receive a portion of the weekly prize. If you are the sole winner, you receive the entire prize money.
FitPotato tracks your exercise session using Apple Health Steps data as well as your GPS
2.Runtopia
Runtopia is a running and step counting tracker that converts activity into SPC coins using GPS data. You can then use these coins to purchase sports equipment, prizes, and services from the in-app store.
Running workout plans can be customized. Premium coaching, such as walking and running for beginners, weight loss workouts, 5K, 10K, half marathon, and full marathon training plans, and so on, is available for a fee.
Several in-app events and online live races include varying levels of rewards to keep you motivated.
3.Carrot
The Carrot app rewards you for meeting your daily step goal, but only in certain Canadian provinces. Your step goal is determined by the app, and you can track your progress with your phone or a linked Fitbit.
With the points you earn, you can play games, enter contests, join challenges, bid on auctions, or get a digital gift card. Aeroplan Miles, Drop, More Rewards, Petro-Points, RBC Rewards, and SCENE are among the programs that accept the points you earn
4.DoorDash
DoorDash provides restaurant food delivery in over 4,000 cities across the United States, Canada, and Australia.
"Dashers" can make deliveries using any mode of transportation, including their own two feet. Aside from transportation, all you need to get started is a smartphone and the app
5.Instaract
With all that walking up and down the aisles, shopping for other people's groceries will undoubtedly increase your daily steps. Instacart connects customers with shoppers who deliver fresh groceries directly to their door.
instacart shopper application
As an Instacart shopper, you work as an independent contractor to shop and deliver orders (car required).
6. Optimity
Optimity is the relaunched Carrot Rewards app, which was a Canadian paid-to-walk app that launched in British Columbia in 2015, expanded to other provinces, and then shut down due to a lack of funds in 2019.
Because Optimity is still in its early stages, the rewards section is somewhat lacking. They only have raffles, More Rewards points, and Petro-Points right now. Hopefully, they will add more variety soon.
Fortunately, the earning opportunities on Optimity have remained relatively consistent with those on Carrot. You can be compensated for:
Take steps (obviously) - To earn gems, you must meet your daily goal, with steak bonuses if you meet it multiple days in a row.
Read and quiz yourself - Optimity, like Carrot Rewards, has a "Learn & Earn" section with simple rewards and interesting facts.
Step together - You can team up with a friend to meet your step goals.
Refer a friend.
I hope the article was helpful to make the most of your walks
