Affirmations are just sentences or a few words you repeat to yourself to help you have faith or manifest.

How do affirmations work?

Basically, the more we repeat something, the more our brain believes in it. When our brain believes in it, it becomes our reality. You start seeing that your mindset is changing, and then it manifests in your reality.

How to write affirmations that work?

I wrote some affirmations at the end of this article to help you get an idea

  • Use positive words and past tense as if it already happened. For example, instead of saying "I'm losing weight" say "I lost __ pounds" or "I'm so skinny" again, the goal is to write it down as if it already happened. It shouldn't be "I'm going to be a millionaire," it should be "I am a millionaire."
  • Don't use negative/lack words like (Not, don't, have, will) these signify that you don't have what you want already and we want to trick your brain into having your desire already.
  • Use "I am __" or "I have ___"
  • It's good to be specific about what you want. Like, instead of writing I'm rich, write how rich you are. How many millions do you have in your bank account?
  • You can even change your genetic makeup with affirmations: Height, shape, size etc. You can change anything, your entire life.

What to do after you wrote your affirmations?

  • Consistency: stay consistent!! always repeat the affirmations. Repeat it UNTIL you get it.
  • Every time you remember your desire, repeat the affirmation for it
  • Even if it feels robotic, keep going
  • You can set a timer for a period of time (Could be 5, 10 min etc) and repeat your affirmations in your head for that time
  • You can write your afirmations down, maybe have a goal of writing a 100, 1000 etc, a day.
  • Make it a habit to affirm daily until you get your desire. There's no set time of when you will get your desire. Some people might get it in a day, some in a week etc.
  • Whenever a resisting thought comes, repeat your affirmations. a resisting thought could be any thought that goes against your affirmations and desire. Maybe you get a thought that this is not real or it will never work etc. That's okay, it's just resistance because your brain is changing. So just take a deep breath and repeat your affirmations.
  • Eventually, it'll come naturally to you.
  • There are times where my desires came in a fw days from affirming, and there are times when it took longer or less. Don't lose hope, just believe that what you desire desires you back.
  • Have faith and don't lose hope if you don't see results immediately.

Examples of affirmations that you can use:

"I am a millionaire"

"I am healthy"

"I am wealthy"

"I am successful"

"I own a ___ business"

"(name) likes/loves me"

"I always get perfect marks at school"

"I always get my desires"

"I am so lucky"

"I am so funny"

"I am so beautiful/handsome"

"I always attract amazing friends"

"I am the best artist in the world"

"I am a very talented violinist"

"I am very confident"

"I am the best singer in the world"

"Miracles are always happening to me"

"My hair is so long and thick"

"My eyes are green/blue/brown"

"I have 2 million subscribers on youtube"

"I am as famous as Ariana Grande"

"I am 6 feet tall"

"I got 5 inches shorter"

"I work at __"

"I am so intelligent"

"Everyone at my workplace is very kind to me"
