Toggling Between Video Views and Channel at a Glance

One of our favorite features of Tubebuddy is the ability to toggle between video views and your subscribed channels at a glance. You can do this by clicking the channel dropdown menu on the left-hand side of the screen and selecting “Views.” When you do this, you’ll see all the information about the video that’s currently playing in a little box on the right side of your screen. You can also click on any video that you’re watching to see this information. This is perfect if you’re watching a lot of videos and want to keep track of which ones you’ve watched so you don’t accidentally click on them again.

TubeBuddy is a FREE browser extension & mobile app that integrates directly into YouTube to help you run your channel with ease. (Install now for free).

Watch Videos Without Ads

Another great feature of Tubebuddy is the option to watch a video without ads. All you have to do is click the “Ads” button at the top of the video and select “Ad-Free.” This is especially helpful for people who are watching a long video. The ads are usually shorter than the actual video, so if you click “Ad-Free” you can just keep watching straight through. You can also quickly skip to the start of the video by clicking the “Play” button. This is helpful if you’re watching a very long video and just want to get to the end of the advertisement.

Turn Off Audio Suggestions

Chances are you clicked on a video that you wanted to watch, but you get redirected to another video that doesn’t interest you at all. On the right side of your screen, you’ll see a little prompt that says “You might also like.” This is the audio suggestion prompt. It’s designed to show you other videos that are related to the video you clicked on. If you don’t like this feature, you can turn it off by clicking the “Menu” button on the far right-hand side of the screen, clicking “Settings,” clicking “General,” scrolling down to “Playback,” and then checking the box that says “Turn off ‘You might also like’ cards.”

Instantly Watch Videos From Your Subscription List

Another amazing feature of Tubebuddy is the ability to instantly watch any video that’s in your subscription list. If you’re watching a video and want to quickly jump to a video that’s in your subscription list, just click the “Subs” button at the top of the screen and select the video you want to jump to. If the video you want to watch is at the top of your subscription list, you can click the “>” button and the video will automatically play next. This is helpful if you don’t want to scroll through your subscription list and manually select the video you want to watch next.

Go Back to the Old Layout and Look

If you don’t like the new layout of YouTube and want to switch back to the old look, you can do so with Tubebuddy. You can quickly switch between the old layout and the new layout just by clicking the “Layout” button at the top of the screen and selecting “Switch to Classic.” This is helpful if you want to watch videos in the old layout, but you also want to use some of the new features that have been added since YouTube revamped their website. The good news is that you can also customize the layout so that it looks exactly how you want it to. Just click the “Layout” button and select “Customize.” You can move the menu buttons around, change the color of the buttons, and even add new buttons that aren’t there by default.

See Which Videos Are Coming Up in Your Subscribers’ Feed

Another feature that you might not know about is the ability to see which videos are coming up in your subscribers’ feed on the right-hand side of the screen. All you have to do is click the “Subs” button at the top of the screen and select “Feed.” The feed shows you which videos are coming up for your subscribers. This is helpful if you want to quickly scroll through your subscribers’ feed and see which videos you should watch next. You can also click the “>” button on the feed and the next video on your subscription list will automatically play. This is helpful if you don’t want to scroll through the subscribers’ feed and manually select the next video you want to watch.

Hide Unwanted Channels or Shows With One Click

Do you subscribe to a lot of channels or shows on YouTube? Then you might want to use the “Hide” feature on Tubebuddy. The “Hide” feature allows you to block certain channels or shows so that they’re not displayed on the feed or in your subscriptions list. All you have to do is click the “Hide” button on the channel or show you want to block and select the “Hide all by channel/show name>” option. This is helpful if you want to declutter your feed and only see the channels or shows that you actually want to watch.

Conclusion

The YouTube experience is always changing, and sometimes it can be difficult to navigate through all the changes and updates. With a tool like Tubebuddy, you can make the most of the new YouTube layout and have quick access to all your subscriptions, trending videos, and more without having to click around or hunt for the information you want. If you haven’t used Tubebuddy before, we highly recommend giving it a try. We think you’ll quickly discover that it makes the YouTube experience better and more enjoyable.
