Choose to open the door to new possibilities

Prosperity, abundance, wealth and money are always available to us. However, we have to choose to make ourselves available to them. The amount of money we have created in our life is in proportion to our willingness or unwillingness to receive it.

There is an abundance of money and resources—a never-ending supply. It is only unwillingness to receive that makes these things hard to obtain.

"What we have decided we can't receive limits what we can have." This fact is actually quite an old field of knowledge; its doctrine and precept were known to the ancient sages and philosophers.

Unlimited capacity to receive is the ability to have everything in life that we fancy. In order to create any kind of limitation, we have to cut off our receiving. It is only what we have decided we cannot receive that can limit what we can have in life.

After spending a quarter-century in business consulting, writing, and conducting workshops, I can tell you without hesitation that the most successful people always have the ability to receive abundantly and infinitely. They can receive from everybody, from everything and they judge nothing. They are willing to receive what anyone is willing to gift to them.

From my experience when I go into resistance and reaction or alignment and agreement, I stop myself from receiving in totality. Amazingly, when I'm willing to receive everything and willing to lose everything I have the self-confidence to see things through and to overcome the inevitable obstacles.

Receiving involves ‘no resistance’.

It is about remaining constantly open, vulnerable and unresisting to any energy. When I catch myself resisting and reacting, I ask myself the question: “What am I unwilling to receive here?”

Receiving is looking at all possibilities and coming to no conclusion.

Every situation contains unlimited possibilities if we are willing to see and receive with no point of view. Your point of view about what you don’t want to have in your life destroys your capacity to receive energy. You cut off a level of your awareness.

We all have the ability to create something greater than this reality. Being open to receive is the master key. It unlocks the door to infinite possibilities, generative wealth, success and happiness.

Infinite choices and infinite possibilities are energies that we can unleash with the right mind-set and skills. People who are masters in their field have a different way of seeing the world and they have the ability to receive everything without judgment.

If there is one critical ingredient for our successful quest for both wealth and happiness, it is our ability to receive everything without judgment. It's the magic that turns our life into the creation of an inspired work of art.

What is receiving?

Total vulnerability is total receiving. Receiving is the ability to be in allowance of everything and everyone as they are, without judgment or buying their judgment of themselves or you, without resisting and reacting or aligning and agreeing.

The willingness to receive everything without judgment is an art. Its skilled practice takes a great deal of discipline, immense dedication, and powerful determination. Learning to receive is learning to allow things to come to you, whether you understand it or not.

Different possibilities and exciting opportunities invariably come to those who have developed skills to receive everything without judgment. It seems that life has an uncanny way of concealing the unlimited possibilities in such a way that they become apparent only to those who are truly willing to receive them — who are looking for something different.

Let’s put it another way. Everything you are not willing to receive is an indication of what you are choosing to eliminate from your life. When you don't like something, you tend to not want to have it in your life.

How much more can you receive if you have no judgment of anything and allow everything to move in and out of your life with ease? I have found that when I am willing to receive everything, I have the benefit of enjoying everything as it is. There is no need to alter or change anything.

Open to the possibilities

Receiving also means being aware and open to the possibilities as they come to you. There are unlimited possibilities available to you, but if you’re not fully willing to receive, you’ll miss them. It is only what you have decided you cannot receive that limits what you can have in life.

How much of what has limited your wealth and money flows is the lack of willingness to open your mind to all possibilities and to receive everything without judgment.

Practical Process: An important step in cultivating the willingness to receive everything without judgment is developing the willingness to claim and own the capacity to receive, even though you may have no idea what that means or what will be coming to you.

A key part of being willing to receive everything is to stop resisting and reacting to any interaction you or anyone else has. When you catch yourself resisting and reacting, ask yourself the following questions:

• What am I unwilling to receive here?
• What ideas or viewpoints have I created that are stopping me from receiving? (These ideas and viewpoints may seem meaningful, significant, or even sacred to you. It may be challenging for you to actually look at them.)
• What would it be like to receive from everybody without judgment?
• What would it be like to receive from everybody without any point of view? (Having a point of view can be a judgment and largely automatic and unconscious)

If you are experiencing a limitation or difficulty in your life, whether it has to do with work, family, relationships with people, business dealings, money or finance, there has to be something that you are not willing to receive.

What you have decided you can't receive limits what you can have. When you notice that you feel contracted and limited, make it a practice to become more receptive and vigilant.

Listen to what you think and say and that will expose all your limitations and everything you can’t receive. Very often your unwillingness to receive directs the course of your behavior and actions. What you constantly focus on plays a key role in facilitating what, when, where, why, and how money can show up in your physical world.
