Agriculture & Farming
We focus on improving the lives of people across the UK and around the world through farming excellence. We are located on the 5 mile long farm route which stretches from Abergavenny in Carmarthen to Gower. We are one of the oldest UK dairy farms and are one of the oldest dairy processing plants. We supply a range of products including milk, cheese and dairy products. Our company was founded in 1994. Since 1996 we produce dairy products and we have become one of the most successful dairy farming businesses in the UK.

You can see our commitment to sustainability in the quality of our products and the sustainability of our business in our ethical pricing and ethical farming practices. We understand that you are a busy farmer and that is why we are able to offer the best farmers’ market in the area. We ensure that all our products are packaged in recycled straws. We make sure that everything is made to order. Our entire team are committed farmers and we have an environmental programme in place for the brand and a sustainability programme for our business.
We have been sourcing local organic crops since 2004 and deliver an exceptional quality product while maintaining control over production from animal to consumer. We support farmers with fresh grass as well – there's plenty on the market!
Our products are predominantly organic, ethical, biodynamic, and sustainably sourced. Our production is sustainable through the practices of organic farming. We feel that our products are of a high quality, being one of the highest quality in our range. We also believe that our products have a good balance of protein, nutrients and antioxidants. We find that the products we produce are all of a high quality and can be enjoyed by all levels of dietary requirements. We believe we are a leader in the organic food industry in terms of scale, quality and sustainability. We are also developing new products and are looking to expand our offerings to include new products for the vegan market.
We have been growing at a steady rate for the past 3 years and have achieved great success with our products. We are currently in the process of building new premises and have started selling into supermarkets and wholesalers across the UK, Europe, Asia and Africa. Our primary market is the UK, however we are selling to other countries such as Australia, New Zealand and the USA. Through our growth we have been able to secure significant growth in our revenue.
It is important to us that we are always improving our products and our business by making further improvements in our practices. We also invest in a variety of other facilities to ensure that we continue to grow and become the best. Our team of over 150 people is fully self employed and employs over 2,500 people in the UK and 2,500 people globally. We operate on a pay as you gain basis, meaning if you were to join us as a farmer or land manager, you would be paid as the employer.
We have a long and proud history of farming, from our roots in the Wolds to our production plants and processing facilities all over the UK. From the start, we have always intended to stay close to our roots and grow our brands with the intention of continuing to produce the best products. We are proud to use a combination of a few techniques which we believe suit our market very well. The most obvious is using organic (no pesticides or fertilisers) and compost sources. The use of organic methods enables us to use more natural products as well as using less machinery. The most important thing is to produce the best quality of products and this is why we are a fully traceable business.
We are pioneers of our time – we started with very little resources; however, over the years our experience has expanded to include some of Europe's most prestigious cafes as well an array that will make you want them all!
Our story began with the Brown family owning and managing a small farm on the outskirts of Chester in the early 70’s. They knew that there was something special about the soil and plants on their farm. They were inspired by the beauty of nature and felt it was vital to the future of their family. With the vision of a sustainable and organic industry in the family’s eyes, they began planting, harvesting and selling organic food. They also started to stock their farm with the best organic quality produce. The Brown family have never given up on the idea of organic farming and have planted, harvested and sold organic produce for over 40 years.
Our story began in the early 1990’s when the Brown family decided to establish a small organic garden on their family’s land in West Sussex. The family has been farming since the age of 12 and have been involved in the farming industry for over 100 years. They have been involved with our business since before we started, working with the family farmers in their farm, and helping them with their farming practices. The Brown family are very passionate about farming, and are still very active in the farming industry. They also have a strong commitment to sustainability, and have worked closely with the local community to ensure that the farm is as close to nature as possible.
Our story is about how we embrace our connection to the land and our diversity as a family. We’re all about conservation, and that’s what we’re about.
Our goal is not only provide quality products but also best-in class customer service at prices which will please all!
Our story is unique and we believe that it can be replicated across the UK. Our aim is to make a positive contribution to the community and to the economy of the community by providing a sustainable, ethical and delicious local food supply which is locally sourced and organic. We aim to provide our customers with delicious, healthy, organic, locally sourced food at affordable prices. We want to empower our customers to make informed decisions about how they consume food and we want to provide them with an opportunity to provide their own influence to the food system and our environment.
Our story has been a long journey which has seen us visit nearly 40 countries (to our knowledge) and come to the UK to build our business. We have been growing and selling organic, cruelty-free, vegan products for the past 9 years and have established ourselves as a trusted name for our customers to visit on a regular basis. We believe that the UK is lacking reliable, affordable and safe vegan products to counter the growing veganisation trend and so the UK market is ripe for growth.
