There are 10 silent signs that stress is making you sick. These signs manifest themselves in different ways which include: headaches, fatigue, insomnia, high blood pressure, irritable bowel syndrome and more.

The following are the signs of a healthy body:

1. Easy Breathing:

When you are stressed, your body will not be able to take in oxygen. You might feel as if you are gasping for air. You may be breathing fast or shallow and when your body needs oxygen, you will automatically breathe harder and faster. Doctors say that if the breathing becomes worse, it is a sign that something is wrong in the body. Breathing should always be easy while under stress so the mind can control it.

2. Regular Bowel Movement:

This is a vital sign that one can have even when they are very busy and under stress. This means that routine bowel movements are very important for any person who wants to stay alive for long. If you are not able to do it on a regular basis, you might be having problems with the body. The best way to know if you are under stress or not is by how often you go to the toilet. If this problem continues, then see your doctor.

3. Weariness:

You will definitely feel like pulling up your bed sheets and going to sleep when you are very busy and have too much in your mind. Doctors say that lack of sleep can lead to a multitude of health problems including cancer if it is left untreated for long. If this sign appears frequently, seek counselling since there could be more underlying reasons for the same than just being under stress.

4. Pain in the Joints:

Are you feeling pain in your joints? Are they aching or is it just a little throbbing pain? If this is how you are feeling, then there must be some problems with your muscles and joints. The body needs to heal each and every day so that it can stay healthy, but if it has been under stress for long periods of time, then these muscles will not heal properly. The joints will also ache. This can lead to long-term issues like dementia too.

5. Indigestion and Irritable Bowel Syndrome:

You will start to develop problems with your stomach. You might throw up because there is too much acid in the body or even have problems with digestion. If you find yourself eating all day yet not able to eat enough food, see your doctor once again. These are signs of indigestion and irregular bowel movements. If left untreated, these can lead to chronic ulcer which may even turn into cancer later on if not treated properly.

6. Excessive Sweating:

If you find yourself sweating more than you used to, then there must be something wrong in the body. Doctors say that the body’s thermostat should not be running too high because this can lead to serious issues like diabetes and other illnesses. If you are sweating a lot, then see your doctor so you can prevent problems in the future.

7. Headaches and Migraines:

If you are feeling pain or constriction inside your head, then there is a high possibility that you are stressed out of your mind. Free yourself from emotions so that you can look at the situation more realistically. Stress is a killer when it comes to headache and migraines.

Doctors say that if headaches hit regularly, they could be on their way towards having chronic headaches which may even turn into migraines later on. If you do not want to live with a headache for the rest of your life, then get out all the bad thoughts from your head, and your body will be able to heal itself.

8. Heart Rate:

Doctors state that stress can make a person’s heart race so much that it can cause problems in the rest of the body including problems with blood pressure and circulation. If you are constantly rushing around or you feel like you are burning up fast, this is the kind of feeling that you should experience on a daily basis because there is rarely a way to get it back once it is gone. You must deal with stress by yourself so that you can stay healthy.

9. Hair Loss:

Hair loss happens when the body is going through a drastic change. If you are experiencing hair loss due to stress, then there is a high possibility that the body is trying to eliminate toxins that are building up inside of it. Hair loss can be temporary or permanent, depending on what your doctor says. When you finally stop stressing, your hair will go back to normal for good.

10. Numbness and Tingling in the Body:

Do you find yourself feeling tingly inside especially in your hands? This could be because you are under stress so much that it is affecting how the body works on a daily basis, including how you feel physically as well as emotionally. If you are experiencing this, see your doctor to rule out any other issues.

Finally

When you are feeling confused, there are many signs that you are under huge amounts of stress. You will not be able to think properly and sometimes, no matter how hard you try to figure it out, the solution just does not come. The mind needs to rest and free itself so that it can think more clearly. Fixing a problem is easy when your mind is clear from all emotions and thoughts.
