Hello,

To the person reading this, I would like to say thank you. This may be just an introduction, but I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to not only read this but hopefully, read what I will be posting in the near future. So from the bottom of my heart, I say thank you for your support. Now that we got out of the way. My name is Manuel Gonzalez, but you can call me Zapanda. I’m a novice writer, who wanted to do something more productive with my time. I have been writing for a long time and I eventually would like to write professionally. I would like to practice my writing, which is one of the reasons why I decided to write on this platform. Here are some examples of the different prompts I will be working on. There will be three types of writing, which will have their own unique title.

Panda Reviews: The first and more frequent type of writing I will be doing here is called panda reviews. This is where I will take a subject, and do an honest review of said subject. Subjects range from Film reviews, TV show reviews (Mostly anime), and maybe the occasional music review. I will say what I liked about the subject (Story, Character, or something visually appealing) and what I thought didn’t work. Pretty much here I will be giving my honest opinion.

Panda Analyzes: In this writing, I will be doing an in-depth analysis of a subject. Again the subject will be either a film or series, but instead of me just saying what I liked or disliked about them, I will be something a bit more analytical. I will be making clear arguments, and back these ideas with evidence provided from the subject. Things to look out for would be comparing and contrasting the subject with other sources of media, expanding on an idea that isn’t fully stated in the subject, and coming up with my own argument that maybe people have or have not thought of before

Storytime with Zapanda: Now this type of writing is where things get a bit personal. This is where I talk about myself, my interests, and different stories that have either happened to me or have happened to people around me. These personal stories are things that I think are both interesting and can be a bit funny at times. This is where you all can get a better idea of my character, and see me as more than just a guy writing reviews and college-based argumentative essays.

So now you know what to expect, I’ll go ahead and say something. I want this platform to be as engaging as possible. If you have any suggestions for a review, a subject for an argumentative essay, or something you want to know about me personally, then please let me know. If there is anything that offends you in any way, please know my goal is to inform, and not to upset or offend anyone in any way. If I do end up doing so then please contact me and we will figure out the issue. Please be kind to one another and try to respect each other's opinions and beliefs. I will be doing the same. This will hopefully be a great experience for all of us, and I hope we all get to have fun with it. I will try my very best to establish a decent schedule to post, but I will not make any promises. Some of these writings will take a lot of time and research, so it may take a week or two to get something going. Please be kind to one another and let's get this journey started.
