type of promotion

product demonstration review

When a client is looking to buy a product, one of the main reason that they are buying the product is because of the product function. This is what determines the problem that the product or even service is aiming to solve. The reason why this is seen as the mean reason, is because there are other reasons to why someone will be willing to buy a product. Like the price of the product or even the design. This are things that will motivate or make someone buy a product.

However, the most important factor that will definitely make someone buy a product is the product's function. Since the client is buying a product because they have a problem they are trying to fix. But can't. So they will look at what could be a solution to that problem. If the product that you are selling solves that problem, then they will buy the product. But you need to make sure that you prove them that your product can solve their problem. And this is when the product demonstration is useful. Since it shows what issue the product can solve by showing what is the function of the product.

Analysing the potential question:

the first thing that you must do here is to understand why you are making the product demo. At this point you should be aware of the problem that the product or service is solving. though the product might not be one that solves a problem in the literal sense it could be a product which is purchase by a customer purely out of desire and not need. For this reason the key focus here are the features uniquely looked at by the client. even if this is more true for a product/service that is mainly purchased out of desire, it is still true for all product and services in general.

Understanding the aim:

The reason for this promotional type is to get the customer to reach a certain conclusion, one that will lead them to purchase. for this reason it is not recommended that you focus on all that the product has to offer in the advert campaign you are running but uniquely on those specific factors that client will be looking for. A problem the product solves if it is a need, or a feature that the product has which is liked by the client if it is a want. The most effective way of doing this is typically by having your advert been a video of an individual using the specific feature of that product which the client wants to buy in order to solve a problem or the client wants to by solely out of desire. This is a very convincing mean of getting the client to reach a purchase mindset.

A product for a need

The product you offer:

• A vacuum cleaner

• It is automated (it can clean a house on its own)

• It last for a long period of time

The potential customer:

• A person that is physically impaired

• They live on their own

• They need to do cleaning constantly

The solution:

In this case, the person will be the ideal client. Since they are physically impaired meaning that

they cannot do manual work like cleaning that require physicality. And since your product is a

vacuum cleaner that does the work automatically, it is therefore the ideal product they will be

looking for. So if you make an advert of the product cleaning a floor automatically to that

person, then they will see it as a solution to their problem and will likely buy the product.

A product for a want

The potential customer:

• A person that is interested in pet design

• And is looking for clothing

• They like shopping online

The product you offer:

• You sell pet design hoodie

• And you sell it online

• You sell to anyone

The ideal strategy:

Here you will make an advert of the product only based on specific size. And this wil mean only to a specific

type of people. So in your product demonstration advert, you will place someone that is the same size as the

client you are looking to target. And get them to wear the hoodies. As the client will see someone of the same

size as them wearing the product that they are interested in, they will be more likely to buy since they will see

the product as also fitting them if it could fit another person if their size.
