Vocal Media Challenge
Challenging myself to give back, and post more
It’s been a while since I’ve done a Vocal Media challenge. I failed the last 100 day challenge, so this time, instead of doing a 100 day challenge, I’m doing a 7 day challenge.
People always ask:
“Edina, why do you like doing challenges so much?”
My answer is always the same:
“Challenging myself is a way of life, and as a creative, I must feel the creativity, I have to feel something. When I’m challenging myself, I feel this deep sense of purpose. I’m not doing the same tasks each day, I’m in a race with myself and my brain.”
When I’m done with a challenge, I feel this thirst, this hunger for more. There’s this renewed sense of fulfillment and peace. I feel connected to my creative power, to Divine Source. It’s difficult to explain, especially to people who don’t see the point of all these challenges. But put it this way, I can’t go a single month without challenging myself in some way. It’s part of who I am.
So, for this seven day Vocal Media challenge. I’ll post two articles a day. The focus for these articles will be, drum roll, please….
Vocal Media.
Yes, I said it. Vocal Media. I’ll write 14 articles that relate to the platform itself. I love writing about platforms, and since Medium have changed the rules, and writers can’t earn income from articles about Medium, I’ll write about Medium and Vocal here.
Throughout this challenge, I’ll do cash giveaways each day. I’m kickstarting the challenge tomorrow, but today, I’m giving away $50 to one lucky Vocal writer.
Here’s how to take part:
1.Make sure you’re following me here on Vocal
2.Grab any e-guide from my store
3.Leave a comment here saying “I’m in”
4. Email me with your Vocal account name or link, and proof of e-guide download
📧email: [email protected]
I’m excited to create some detailed content about Vocal Media because I get so many questions via email and from friends and family about Vocal Media and Medium. I’ll share these articles with anyone who asks about writing on Vocal Media.
The goal 🎯
My goal is to expand my reach on Vocal, as I took some time away from the platform, came back, then left again. I do post consistently, at least three to four times a week these days, however, I want to get back to daily posts.
I’m also doing a Gumroad digital product challenge at the moment, so I have to post at least one article here daily anyway, but that’s separate and I won’t include that in my Vocal Media challenge. I’ve written several pieces for the Gumroad challenge already, and I’ll post some repurposed pieces too.
I’m a free Vocal user therefore, I don’t expect to earn thousands here, but anything I do earn will go towards supporting vulnerable women in Ghana.
If you’re new to my content, you won’t know that I support vulnerable women and children in Ghana, West Africa; and giving back is one of the core values attached to my business. Therefore, at times, I offer free coaching, or low cost coaching.
In fact, for the month of July, I’m offering two more low-ticket coaching spaces for people who can’t afford my high-ticket offers; and as a seasoned content writer, digital entrepreneur and software developer, I provide new creators with guidance and accountability to build a sustainable content-driven business.
As a writer, what questions do you have about Vocal? What would you like to read?
______Thank you for reading and supporting my creative journey. Sending you love, peace, and happiness. 💕

I had no idea that Medium doesn't pay for articles about Medium. That's absurd. Anyway, I wish you all the best for your challenge!
