I'm Building a Brand New Gumroad Page to Prove It's Not Luck

Gumroad is still a goldmine

Gumroad is, without a doubt, one of the top sites for beginners looking to sell digital products. It's incredibly user-friendly and, crucially, it's free — a massive plus if you're just starting out.

I've personally generated thousands on Gumroad by selling digital products. However, I did take a break from marketing my offerings there to shift focus to Payhip, another digital product platform.

While I definitely prefer Gumroad's core functionality, Payhip does present itself more like a traditional website, and its aesthetics are, in my opinion, a bit more polished.

Regardless, I'm now embarking on building a completely new Gumroad page, aiming to scale it to $10,000 a month. My objective is simple: to demonstrate conclusively that success on this platform isn't about luck.

Here's my plan:

Pick a profitable niche with low competition: This means finding a truly burning problem and then crafting a clear solution.

Create a Medium page: This will be outside the Partner Program for this specific project.

Develop a faceless YouTube channel: No on-camera presence required.

Establish a Pinterest page: To share and distribute content.

And here's the strategy:

Post daily on YouTube and Medium: The focus will be heavily on "how-to" content.

Find and connect with my target audience: Engage with them to build a community.

Share all content on Pinterest: Maximize visibility through this visual platform.

✅Create a digital product that solves a problem: This will be something like an e-book or a concise mini-course.

✅ Sell, sell, sell! Actively promote the product.

Offer a higher-ticket item: I'll also introduce one premium product and promote Gumroad affiliate products to those who purchase my initial digital offering.

This is a straightforward strategy, and I won't be spending a single dollar on paid ads for this venture. My first $50,000 on Gumroad was earned without any paid advertising, and frankly, you don't need to spend on ads with Gumroad.
