The Underdog: From $10/hr to $1.5M/Year
The Underdog: From $10/hr to $1.5M/Year

As I sit here, reflecting on my journey as an entrepreneur, I'm reminded of the countless failures and setbacks I faced along the way. But it's not those failures that I'm most proud of, it's the resilience and determination that got me to where I am today.
In this post, I'll share my story of struggle, perseverance, and ultimately, success. It's a story that's not always easy to hear, but one that I hope will inspire you to keep pushing forward, even when the going gets tough.
The Early Struggles
My journey as an entrepreneur began with a passion for building something of my own. I had always dreamed of creating a successful startup, but it wasn't easy. I worked multiple jobs just to make ends meet, including stints as a waiter and a software engineer. But no matter how hard I worked, I couldn't seem to get my business off the ground.
I launched app after app, but they all failed. I tried to build a tool for escape room businesses, but it didn't take off. I created a tool for sports lovers, but it was met with crickets. And the list went on.
At one point, I was working 30 hours a week as a software engineer just to make ends meet. It was a far cry from the life of a successful entrepreneur I had envisioned for myself.
The Turning Point
But then something changed. I saw an ad for a Facebook ad and decided to give it a try. I sold gloves online, but it wasn't successful. It was a small setback, but it made me realize that maybe I wasn't cut out for this entrepreneurial thing.
I took a step back and reassessed my goals. I realized that maybe I didn't need to be an entrepreneur to be successful. Maybe I just needed to find a job that brought me joy and fulfillment.
The First Success
Fast forward a few years, and I had found a job as a software engineer that allowed me to use my skills to create something meaningful. It wasn't as lucrative as being an entrepreneur, but it was fulfilling.
But then, everything changed again. I got fired from my job and found myself back at square one. It was a tough pill to swallow, but this time around, I was determined to approach things differently.
New Beginnings
I started building small apps and sharing them publicly, hoping to create a following and eventually build something successful. It wasn't easy, and there were still plenty of setbacks along the way. But this time around, I was more focused on creating value for others rather than trying to make a quick buck.
And then, something amazing happened. My apps started to gain traction. People began using them and sharing them with their friends. And slowly but surely, my income began to grow.
Conclusion
Today, I'm proud to say that my income is over $1.5M per year. It's not because I'm some kind of genius or prodigy. It's because I never gave up. I kept pushing forward, even when things seemed impossible.
If you're an entrepreneur struggling to get your business off the ground, don't give up hope. Keep pushing forward, even when things seem tough. And remember that success is often just around the corner.
I hope my story has inspired you to keep pushing forward on your own entrepreneurial journey. Whether you're just starting out or have been at it for years, never give up on your dreams.
