The Only Reason You’re Not Rich in This AI Era
It’s not what you think
I know you’ve seen them. Those posts everywhere show very regular, everyday people making life-changing money with AI. They build faceless brands with AI, create products with AI that sell like crazy, and all of a sudden, they’re quitting their 9–5 to go all in on their AI businesses.
I know you’ve seen them because I’ve seen them myself. Quite a lot of them, actually. It used to frustrate me, not because I was jealous of them, but because I felt they knew something I didn’t. I knew there was something common with most of them, and that’s what was making them profitable with AI.
Luckily for me, I think I’ve figured it out. The reason I wasn’t making money with AI had nothing to do with me being lazy or me being unlucky.
If anything, I was very determined, hardworking, and tried a lot of different things.
I realised the people making money with AI created leverage.
They used AI to give them the leverage that the regular person lacked.
You’re broke because you’re trading hours for dollars in a world that rewards leverage.
AI is not the problem; you are.
If you’re still thinking that using AI is something technical and only programmers or tech bros can use it to make money, you’re already behind.
AI has gotten to the point where the technicalities have been hidden, and the interfaces are so simple that anybody who can read and write can use them.
I’ve made decent money from AI faceless brands myself, and nothing about me is technical. I don’t know how to code, I can’t debug, and I have no idea how these LLMs work.
What I did was to let the AI worry about knowing things, and all I did was learn how to partner with it. I learned to treat it like a business partner that knew all the technical aspects of the business, and I knew how to deal with the human part.
The people making money with AI have learned how to leverage AI to multiply their efforts.
What you’re missing: Leverage.
Leverage simply means doing the same amount of work, but getting 10X the results.
If you’re still with the mindset that the more work you do, the more money you’ll get, you’re behind.
Let me give you an example:
- A traditional freelancer will write a blog post completely by hand. Use 6 hours and charge $100 for it.
- An AI-powered freelancer will use AI for ideation, outline, first drafts, and edits in 1 hour, charging the same $100.
That’s 6x more output in the same time.
3 Reasons you’re still stuck.
You’re trying to learn AI instead of using it.
If you’re the type who tries to understand how LLMs work, how Mid journey generates images, or how ChatGPT knows so much, you’re most likely in the wrong field. You need a job in Silicon Valley.
Stop trying to figure out how ChatGPT works and start trying to figure out how to use it to create something valuable.
Example:
Use ChatGPT to write product descriptions, blog posts, or digital course outlines.
Use Midjourney or Canva’s AI to create ebook covers or social content.
The key is implementation, not information.
You’re still selling time instead of solutions.
If you think people care that you did the work yourself or with your own knowledge, you’re wrong.
When it comes to buyer psychology, they don’t really care how the solution came about; they just want a solution that delivers on what it promises.
If you’ll use AI, you'd better make sure your AI solution is impeccable so that every other factor can be ignored.
You’re starting from scratch instead of starting from smart.
You don’t need to begin your creativity process from scratch. There’s no leverage in that.
For instance, let AI create your eBook draft for you so that you can continue from there with your own personalization and final touches. Let AI create the logo concept for you so that you can edit it to fit your brand.
I’m not asking you to replace your creativity with AI, I’m asking you to amplify it.
If you’ll take only one thing from this post, let it be the fact that you don’t need to “learn AI,” you need to “learn how to solve problems with AI.”
Because no one gives you money because you know a lot about AI, you get paid because you can solve a problem, and that’s what AI helps you do quicker and smarter.
Here’s your action plan:
- Pick one thing you already know how to do. You don’t need to be an expert at it; basic knowledge is enough.
- Find out which AI tools help you do that better and faster.
- Master how to use those AI tools to do those things faster and smarter.
- Monetize your mastery.
Al is not replacing you; it’s rewarding those who adapt.
Will you be left behind, or will you adapt?
Your move.
