The Last Days of King
The Scripture says after doing everything to stand and stand firmly. And that is just what I am going to do. Remembering where I was brought from going in and out of prison, being beaten in and out of season. Remembering where I was saved from. It has been a long journey. It has been a long mighty road. We were not alone my friend. We were not alone at all. We walked with each other holding hands down the uncertain road. We walk with grace and dignity for the fight of freedom. We walked unafraid of scourging and unafraid of the pain we were going to face. No those officers did not get the best of us. No those dogs in our way did not get the best of us. We stood on freedom's ground with our heads held high. Because we knew what we were fighting for. We knew where we were delivered. We made up in our minds to fight on. We made up in our minds to live and not die. And if we die then we die the fight of freedom. We die the death of the righteous and the Almighty will see and delivered us again and again. I speak unafraid. I speak without a doubt. My faith is reassured. My hope is still there. I did not forget the foundaiton of my faith. I did not forget where I was delivered. I still remember the chains. I still remember the pain. I still remember the relief of salvation. I still remember my upbringings and where I now stand. And I am telling you we will see victory. We will see deliverance. And if I don't make it with you, remember what I taught you, remember where we were brought from, remember the trials and tribulations and don't ever forget where you were delivered, don't ever forget where you were saved, don't ever forget because mean our cause was for nothing and my friend I didn't walk for nothing. You didn't confront those officers for nothing, you didn't go to jail for nothing, you didn't get beaten halfway to death for nothing. It was for the glory of his coming, it was for the righteousness prepared for us, it was to ensure the rights we must be given, the freedom that must not be sparing.
