When you talk about delegating, you are talking about getting some help in your daily life. You may choose to get help at home or with your business.

Some people ask for help with their children and home. They may hire a mother's helper to occupy their children for a few hours so that they can focus on their business. They may have someone come in weekly to clean. They may hire someone to help them with daily chores, including laundry, dishes, and even cooking.

Others prefer to delegate business tasks such as phone calls and record keeping. It does not really matter what things that you hire someone else for, as long as you allow people to help you.

There are so many different reasons for you to ask for help and delegate some tasks.

Delegating can give you more time to focus on your business. Instead of the time that it takes you to do household chores or business chores, you could be working on your business. Could you imagine how much more work you could do if you didn't spend two hours a day on housework? What if you could focus on the work while someone else answered the phone?

If you hire someone to do a certain task, they will be able to do it much quicker than you would be able to. Why should you spend hours designing a terrible website when someone else can do it much quicker and better? Isn’t your time worth more than the money it will take to just get it done?

Delegating can give you more money in your pocket. When you delegate, it allows you to focus on tasks that make you money, instead of all the things that often feel like a waste of time. Wouldn’t you rather be making money instead of worrying about record keeping or writing your own blog? You may have to pay them fifty dollars, but you could make one hundred dollars in the amount of time that it would take you to do that task.

Even in your own business, there are certain tasks that you do not enjoy doing. So, why do those tasks when you can hire someone else to do them? Instead, spend time doing what you love about your business.

If you give up even one little task, you might be able to do something for yourself. Taking a break or “me” time allows you to come back to your business refreshed and eager to continue. Especially if you are really overwhelmed, there is nothing wrong with relaxing and walking away for a little bit. You will be able to get more done when you come back.

You might find yourself having more time for your family. Even if you are a workaholic and enjoy your work, you need to find time to spend with your family. You work hard for your family, so you deserve to enjoy them. Hire someone to help, so you get to have fun and spend time with your family.

There are so many reasons to delegate tasks, whether you get help at home or in your business. You can focus more on your business. Maybe you might be able to make a little extra time for yourself and your family. Also, you know that there are certain tasks that you hate to do. Why do those things when you can hire someone else to do them? Perhaps someone else can do something much quicker. Why not let them? Instead, sit down and make some money!

Once you get started with delegation, you are going to wonder why you didn't start sooner!
