Country Scented Candles
My name is Monika. I'm a stay-at-home mama who lives in Kansas. I have this at-home job to help bring in some extra income and keep me busy while my kids are at school until they get home! :) I got into selling candles because I myself LOVE candles or anything that smells good, and I'm more than sure a lot of others do too! A Writer's Thank You
Today did not start with any unusual fanfare, but it has managed to create a space for itself in my memory that will ensure its retention in the little gray cells for some time. I received my first dollar for my freelance writing today. I could only look at it for awhile and sip tea while I processed the floodgate of memories that little dollar sign had suddenly unleashed. In all honesty, that symbol wouldn't have come into being if not for the impressive women in my life saying, "You're a writer? Prove it then. Write."

Young Entrepreneur Status
The biggest change of my life all started during the first semester of my graduate program in Psychology of Counseling. Since the beginning of high school, I was told that my kind personality and ability to listen to others would be ideal qualities for a therapist and that I would one day succeed in the field of psychology. After four years of mindless following towards my future, I moved three hours away to get in the best psychology undergraduate program in the state and went through four years of debt to achieve a degree (which I still have not been able to pay off!). Although I found my program intriguing, I still felt as though I was missing something in life.
