Grab A Cup Of Coffee Sit Back And Relax While I Give Some Shouts This Morning
9:48 a.m.
It has been an hour since I have been up.
Knowing, I need to finish my story
'The Touch Of The Chicago Lawyer.'
Selling myself short in the process.
That is the thought that keeps running through my mind.
I'm not giving up this is a dream and I am a go-getter.
With Vocal only updating once a day usually at nine p.m.
Last night it was nine-thirty, but I find myself checking it throughout the day.
I know it will only update just once, but it is like having a new boyfriend.
Sitting by the phone checking it every few seconds and at that moment,
At that moment they text or call your face lights up with excitement.
I can not believe how far I have come
I have been on the Vocal Platform since the week before Christmas of 2020.
I could not believe that in one night the story from above,
'The Touch Of The Chicago Lawyer'
Had eighty-six views in one day!
Excitement struck again the feeling is amazing.
None of this wouldn't have been possible without the Vocal platform and, my Vocal family.

The goals I did not achieve
Every writing goal I made for the year is a wash. It has been this way for a while, but I think it's important to be open about my failures and the reality of how life can get in the way. This is especially true considering the several times I have posted on Vocal about my writing goals, how I was changing my approach, and where I was hoping to be for the upcoming year. I will probably do that again in a couple months, but for now, it is time to acknowledge where I am today.

How I.C.E. Shoots Renee Good and the Moment Minneapolis Broke
Sometimes a single bullet does more than tear through glass. Sometimes it shatters trust. On a cold Wednesday morning in south Minneapolis, a maroon SUV sat awkwardly on Portland Avenue. Horns echoed. Whistles pierced the air. Federal vehicles clogged the street like stones dropped into a river. Then came the gunshots — sharp, final, irreversible.
