Travel Safely While Wearing A Luxury Watch?

There is always a hot topic running in the watch industry about whether it is safe traveling a luxury watch or not. As well as whether wearing a luxury watch is safe or not.

We can say yes, it is safe but with some precautions and the right equipment are required. As we keep believing, you have no excuse for not taking pleasure in your priceless investment abroad. Naturally, the watch you

carry will depend on your destination, level of city familiarity, and activities you intend to engage in while there. It would be wise to avoid taking luxury watches to Sao Paulo, Brazil as they are dangerous for robberies.

Also, avoid traveling to those locations which are unfamiliar to you with an expensive watch.

Bringing no more than one or two watches while traveling, is a decent general rule of thumb. You'll have a much simpler time traveling the world if you choose items that are fashionable, adaptable, and can also go unnoticed.

Everyone has some favorite timepieces in their collection with which they always love to travel. Whether it is received in inheritance or gifted by your partner. Flying around the world with your most premium collection of timepieces can be a frightening task.

Volta Winder is here to give you some advice on how you should travel safely while wearing or carrying a watch.

The following are few suggestions from Watch insurance experts:-

1.Select the watch travel case that has ample padding to keep your watches secure during traveling. A case made of high quality such as leather, carbon fiber will be the perfect choice while jetting.

2.Refresh your policy. Verify that the insurance coverage covering your watches is current with the timepieces you'll be taking on your trip and contains the correct values.

3.Discover your papers. It's a good idea to preserve a file of your receipts, appraisals, and any other papers that might be used to verify ownership in the case of a loss, whether it be physical or digital.

4.Choose carefully. Choosing a watch that will go unnoticed is advised by numerous Volta Winder employees who have designated timepieces as "travel watches."Consider your watch options carefully. It's advisable to travel with a watch that isn't incredibly recognisable; colorless metals like stainless steel or white gold are also suggested; ideally, you want something athletic and unnoticeable.

5l.Keep them tight and pack them carefully. While we don't advise taking many watches on the road, if you do, think about getting a lockable travel case. To avoid deterioration, place each component in a watch travel case or roll, such as one from the shop.

6.Keep in mind that you should ALWAYS take your watches with you in hand luggage and never put it in your checked luggage.

7.One of the most important things when traveling with my luxury watch is I prefer never remove it from my wrist and in case any situation arises than usually placing my watch inside in a volta watch winder box.
