How a Twenty-Peso Bill Can Change Someone's Life
It doesn't require qrand gesture to help people

Life taught me countless lessons that helped me grow and mold me into who I am right now. I met different people and was able to learn from their differences. Every time I see someone with a big smile on their face, I beam with happiness. I could not deny that I am a very sentimental person. That even if you lend me a piece of compliment, I will completely shout for joy.
There are times I contemplate for a while and think that maybe there is love in kindness. Being kind to other people is very powerful and can simply make this world a better place. It requires nothing to be kind, I know. It doesn’t need money, skills, or status. Besides, our simple act of kindness might make someone’s day complete.
I can still recall how an old man blessed me with his words. He said, "God bless Dong." Salamat!" It was a very hot afternoon, and the scorching sun is making me thirsty. I am with my mom, and we are planning to buy groceries. As I pass by this old man near the bakery, I can clearly see in his eyes that he is starving and thirsty. I asked my mama for a twenty-peso bill and bought him a piece of bread and a bottle of water. I am amazed. Despite how hard he might be dealing, he was still able to give back a smile and positively thank me.
My heart was full after that incident. I realized that all of us are dealing with different battles. We are not on the same boat. But what’s important is that we are able to lend a hand to other people. Our simple act of kindness might change other people’s lives. Maybe that twenty-peso bill is just a small amount for us, but for other people, it saves their lives.
One of the greatest things I learned from this is that kindness does not just mean giving material things to other people. In fact, it can be done by giving compliments, opening doors for strangers, giving other people some motivating words, or simply lending an ear to a friend or loved one who doesn’t feel okay.
Next time, if you feel unmotivated in life or at the point of giving up, try being kind to someone. It might be the thing that can light up both of your days. And always remember that your twenty peso-bill might change someone’s life.
Helping people can have a profound impact on their lives, as well as on your own life. Acts of kindness, compassion, and support can lead to positive changes in various ways:
1. **Enhanced Well-being:** Helping others can boost your sense of purpose and happiness. Knowing that you've made a positive difference in someone's life can bring a sense of fulfillment and satisfaction.

In summary, helping people not only positively impacts their lives but also brings numerous benefits to your own life. Whether it's a small gesture or a significant commitment, acts of kindness can be powerful agents of change.
