People love this type of information because it teaches them something as well as engages them in the content they’re watching.

If you’re writing an ebook you can add your personality when writing your product so it keeps people interested.

You don’t want to just write a boring book, you want to create something people enjoy reading and help them solve their problems in the given niche.

A lot of info products are free-I know you are probably thinking how is this a good thing, let me explain.

They’re both free and premium information products.

The best way to make money from your information courses is give out quality free information that you could charge for.

You’re probably thinking why would I do that?

Simple, it’s your foot in the door.

If you give away amazing content for free it will spark peoples curiosity, and they will want to see what information you are selling.

Ebooks- This will be the most common form of creating a product.

I prefer to use it as free give way, and create video and audio for premium versions.

There will always be die hard readers, and now that kindle, apple, and many others are jumping on board there has never been a better time to create your products in the ebook format.

It’s a great way to establish yourself for branding, and to get your foot in the door by giving some of your premium content away to your visitors.

If it’s great content they will value what they’re reading and crave for more.

Audio Format-These are powerful because it’s easy and convenient to consume the information.

If you walk around your city you probably have noticed half the population now has their ear buds in everywhere they go.

Most people probably aren’t listening to music, but listen to a audio course, tutorial, or pod-casts.

It’s very convenient for people to load up the mp3 file on their ipod or phones and listen to it on the go.

In today’s world people are extremely busy, and they have to cram in the information whenever they have time.

This is great because they can consume the information at their own pace without any pressure.

MP3′S-One of the most popular formats would be a mp3 so people can load it up in their ipod.

You can do easy tutorials, interviews with authorities in your niche or full blow courses broken down into easy chunks of information people can learn from.

Podcast’s-One of the biggest rages today is pod-casts.

Now you can become a celebrity in your niche at a fast pace.

If you deliver quality information, and establish yourself in your niche it would be wise to start a podcast and upload it to the itunes store.

You can do the same as mp3′s, but have a weekly show that you provide premium information people are craving for.

I myself listen to lots of pod-casts, and it makes it great because I upload them to my ipod and can listen to them at the gym.

With running a full time business I don’t have time to consume all of their content right away.

They make it easy for me to listen to it on my own time.

Make Videos-Videos are by far my favorite because I would rather watch a video any day over reading or listening to a audio course.

Video is engaging and you can use two of your five senses- site and sound.

The beauty of videos is it’s the most engaging form of delivering content, and it has power to go viral.

Youtube is now the second largest search engine, and people love to share videos they like.

If people love your video they will share it with their friends, and this will help you reach more people.

Creating Videos-With all of the software out today it doesn’t have to be hard to create video for your subscribers.

You can use free software on both Mac an PC to create your video information product.

If you’re creating a video to share online like youtube it will have to be short and grab attention.

You will only be allowed to upload so much data.

You can create free videos to get people interested, and then create a full blown course with video to sell as a premium version.

So you now understand why information products are great, but why make a product over doing affiliate marketing?

Affiliate marketing is great, but why funnel your traffic and loyal visitors into someone else’s sales funnel so they can get rich?

If you want to become an authority in your niche you want to create your own product, and keep creating products in order to solve peoples problems.

Once they buy one of your products they will want more if your content is good.

When you do affiliate marketing you are not only sending your traffic to someone else to get half the commission, but you are sending them to someone who will probably keep marketing to them over and over.

Why wouldn’t you want to be the person collecting 100% of the money by creating your own product?

You can create endless products if you’re in a evergreen niche.

When you create your products you should create products with one problem and one solution.
