To be in the elite is a privilege

The only question and con I really have is; is it worth being own Girl Boss in today’s world?

If this is the only con and question I’m going with yes.

That sounds to good to be true- it is actually. Because is not like it use to be in the late 90s early 2000s where the internt is new and everyone is easily discovered with the help of the internet.

Over the last 20 years or so the internet has honestly come soo far and created so many new jobs and opertunities. Which is great but unfortunately things become obsolete very fast- what was on point last month or even last week is just cancelled now. If not cancelled it just pushed to the back of the internet never to be seen again.

Which means that yo are literally playing Hunger Games in order to stay on top- to even get noticed. I mean with a population of over 8 billion people on earth you would think it be easy to be noticed- guess again.

If you’re not on top of your game, you mines well go home. Even the elite have to post videos on YouTube daily- post all over TikTok, Twitter, and anywhere to post their reels to just be able to stay on top. It’s like having a full time job to just be a creator- then having a part time job to post their content anywhere on the the internet to just be seen by their followers. It’s a 24/7 job. Being a content creator you are fighting tooth and nail- it’s not a job for the weak. It’s not a place to be taking lightly.

Me personally always wanted to work for myself- to be able to spend the day painting or writing but I do have a day job which makes it hard to post enough to beat the algorithm. Not saying it’s not possible to do it. A lot of people have beat the system and made it out the other end successfully on top.

I feel like now it 2024 it’s a cult. To be able to have the opportunity to do this for a living and be your own boss- make your own schedule and do what you want and receive a pay cheque. It’s a cult- you can’t change my mind on that.

How can it not be a cult? You are literally fighting against the algorithm and 8 billion people to be on top.

What are you willing to do in order to make to the top with the rest of them? You always have a fighting chance to become your own boss if you take the chance and fight for it. From a small age you were told if you put in the work you will go to far places. So, why are you laying around crying at the fact of the one post you made last week didn’t blow up and make you rich and famous? Even famous people had to start somewhere.

Name a celebrity and look at where they started. The journey they went through to land the big role that changed their life forever.

Even J.K Rowling was rejected a few times before she landed on the right desk and blew up to be a sensation. Harry Potter is now a big part of a lot of people's lives.

Sometimes you can put out all of the work- work day and night and nothing comes of it. It could take months, even years before an art career or writing career takes off.

The real question is; can you handle being a Girl Boss?
