We all want to love what we do. We want to feel passionate about our work, and enjoy every day in the office. But finding your ultimate calling isn't always easy, especially if you are young and just starting out in life. That's why we've put together this list of ways to figure out what you really love doing!

Identify what you enjoy doing.

To start, try to identify the activities that you enjoy doing. It's important to be as specific as possible when thinking about what your interests are. For example, instead of saying "I like reading books", say "I enjoy reading fantasy novels." Once you have identified the things that interest you, write them down on a piece of paper and make sure there are no duplicates! This can be difficult at first because we often have more than one interest at any given time in life (e.g., cooking and baking). But keep in mind that this exercise is meant to help narrow down what exactly it is about certain activities that sparks joy inside us - and doesn't necessarily mean they need go hand-in-hand forevermore!

To get started with this process, try thinking about all the different ways people might spend their free time: watching TV shows/movies; playing video games; writing essays/papers for school; exercising outdoors…and so forth! Then write down five things which come naturally for YOU personally when thinking about these categories above (e.g., "reading fantasy novels").

Don't be afraid to experiment.

If you're not sure what your passion is, don't be afraid to experiment. Try new things and see where it leads you! You might learn more about yourself by trying something that was previously out of reach or unexpected.

There are so many different ways of finding out what you love doing in life - the important thing is that you keep an open mind and don't give up on yourself when things get difficult.

For example, I recently started UGC | Content Creation, as afraid as I am to show my face, due to my current weight, I still wanted to share this with you, please follow my journey on Tiktok:

Take some time off to explore.

It can be helpful to take some time off from your job, if possible. If you're not able to do this, consider taking a vacation or sick day when you can. The point is that you'll want some time where you can focus on exploring your interests and passions without the distractions of work - and those distractions may be more obvious than you think!

Take some time off from work and explore what interests or excites you outside of the office environment. Consider what activities were most appealing when we were children (playing sports? Cooking?). What are your hobbies now? Could any of these be related back to one particular thing that lights up your brain like nothing else?

Talk with friends and family.

To uncover your interests and passions, it's important to talk with people who know you well. You can start by asking them what they think your interests are and what they think you're good at. Then, ask them for advice on how to develop those skills further.

You might even consider asking a friend or family member who has been through something similar - for example, if one of your friends recently graduated from college with a degree in engineering, ask him or her how they found out about their major and what classes were helpful during the process of learning about engineering.

Go through your "stuff."

  • Look through your "stuff."
  • What do you have? Is there anything that might be telling about what you like and don't like?
  • For example: if you have a lot of books about cooking, it might mean that cooking is something that interests you. If all the CDs and DVDs are comedies (and not dramas), then maybe comedy is more up your alley than drama.

Ask yourself questions.

  • Write down the things you enjoy doing.
  • Make a list of all the things you've done in the past.
  • Ask yourself what you like about each activity and look for patterns in your answers.

For example, if you enjoy working with people and leading them in a group setting, then you might be interested in becoming a coach or trainer. If you like being creative and making things, maybe you'd enjoy being an artist or designer.

If you're interested in helping others, then you might be a good fit for the medical field or counseling. If being outdoors and making something useful appeals to you, then maybe construction or landscaping would be a good career path.

You can find out if you are doing what you love by experimenting, taking a break and talking to people who know you best

Take a break from your current job or activity. For example, if you're working as an accountant but have always wanted to be an artist: quit your job and try being an artist for a while! If this sounds scary, then start by taking small steps like taking art classes in your local community college or volunteering at an art gallery. You might discover that being an accountant isn't so bad after all, but at least this way we'll know for sure whether or not becoming an artist is right for us (and our future).

If taking time off doesn't sound like something that would work out well with your current situation then try doing something new instead of quitting outright - perhaps try learning how to cook or meditate daily instead? Again though these things may seem daunting at first glance so don't feel pressured into doing something drastic just yet; instead start small by adding one new thing each week until eventually it becomes second nature (like brushing teeth) without even thinking twice about it anymore…

Conclusion

If you're feeling stuck and unsure of what direction to take in life, it can be helpful to take some time off and explore. You don't have to quit your job or move away from everything that's familiar - just spend some time doing what makes you happy! Try out different activities, talk with friends and family about what they think is important in life (and why), go through old photos or other items from past experiences (like school projects), or simply ask yourself questions like "what does success look like?" or "where do I want my career path go next?" These are all ways of getting closer towards discovering where your passions lie so that when an opportunity arises later on down the road from one of them.
