Evolution of a Self-Made Multi-Millionaire
Praying Through the Process

Who is the Real BB-Judy?
Is Jesseca Dupart Really a modern-day Madam C.J Walker? If you’re unfamiliar with Jesseca Dupart, let me introduce Mrs. Dupart, aka @DaRealBB-Judy. Entrepreneur/Founder and CEO of Kaleidoscope hair products, author, philanthropist, real estate investor, mentor, and most recently reality star from “Growing up Hip Hop: Atlanta.” Mrs. Dupart is most famous for her creation Miracle Drops, a hair and scalp oil described as a bottle of liquid gold. This hairstylist turned multi-millionaire has always had an entrepreneur spirit. In Dupart’s book “When the Miracle Drops,” she reminisces on how doing hair was always her passion even though her parents wanted her to be a doctor or lawyer, that didn’t stop her from sneaking and doing hair in high school or investing everything she had into her first hair studio. Mrs. Dupart, humble beginnings are a demonstration of what could happen if you pursue your dreams.
I first stumbled upon the CEO of kaleidoscope hair products back in 2015. At the time, Dupart was a hairstylist and owner of Kaleidoscope hair studio. I was captivated by Judy’s creative, fun, and colorful Instagram page. Her hustler’s ambition was always on showcase, all while creatively promoting her miracle drops and edge control. One of the many ways Dupart grew her business and gained so much popularity was her collaboration skills. She would pop up everywhere on Instagram, collaborating with celebrities and social media influencers like Trina, Justin Combs, Yandy Smith, DC YoungFly, SnoopDogg, Wale, and Floyd Mayweather, to name a few. Dupart would engage her audience with informative tutorials, creative parody videos promoting her products. Her friends would also engage in the fun promoting her products. One of her more infamous projects was the edge police. This was a video series where Judy and friends would dress up in police costumes, call and confront people anywhere and fix their hair using Judy’s products. Yes, the skits were comical. More than anything, they showed a black woman having fun, going out into her community; and building working and social relationships while promoting her brand and products.
Epitome of a Black Creator
In my opinion, Mrs. Dupart’s most noteworthy attribute is creativity. Her ability to captivate her audience and market her creativity in such an authentic way. That it has manifested her a successful multi-million-dollar business is more than a revelation. This Boss Lady has built herself a golden ladder from doing hair out of her home to a massive warehouse where her products are now distributed to big box stores like Walmart, Sally’s, Target, and even local beauty supply stores. Jesseca’s ever-expanding brand and giving heart are a testament to women everywhere, that with determination, faith, and authenticity, you absolutely can accomplish your wildest dreams. I also admire how Judy doesn’t stay stagnant. Not only has her brand and product line grown, but so has her bold and captivating promotional videos. She is always paying homage to the culture and her hometown of New Orleans. Some of her elaborate projects include. Judy Wonka- Oompa Loompa Remix, Judy Dropping Knowledge Tour, Judy Springer, and Chopped- Hair Braider edition, where real braiders competed in a hair braiding competition using Kaleidoscope hair products.
Sowing Seeds
Mrs. Dupart’s use of social media isn’t only for financial gain; she has always found a way to give back and offer others a helping hand. Over the years, we have watched as Judy has grown and helped her friends grow their business and brands into multi-million-dollar realities. We’ve watched as she poured back into her community countless times ranging from. Free vision board parties, car and mentorship giveaways, her giving free business tips and promo on live, or even personally being #JudyClaus and generously blessing her family, friends, and staff with heartfelt gifts and donations. Judy’s philanthropy is one for the books and definitely gives me future millionaire goals. In December of 2018, Kaleidoscope Hair Products and fellow self-made millionaire and CEO of the Crayon Case Raynell Steward. Received a spot in the Guinness World Record for “most toys donated in one hour” after their #NolaBigChristmas giveaway.
This hair enthusiast turned mogul has curated a unique and bold product line and fan base by following her passion and standing firm in her truth; Innovative, passionate, creative, bold, and fearless. I commend Jesseca Dupart and encourage others to take charge and create as courageously as she has.
