Dreams Do Come True

For me, especially coming from a traditional family, let alone dreaming about my soulmate, even encouraging the thought of desiring my soulmate could be considered risky for me. So the first step I took was to give life to my heart’s desires, asking for anything and everything my heart wanted. I always wanted to be in a loving relationship and find a person who would love me the way I am.

So one day I wrote down in my journal all the qualities I wanted to have in my soulmate. I also wrote that I wanted to meet him before a specific date. I was really needy of him because at that point in my life I was lonely and had no one to talk to or share with and I wanted love. Then I went on with life.

After a few months, I suddenly started having this strong urge to contact one of my school friends who was also my first crush back when we were in high school. It had been 10 years since we last spoke. I just wanted to tell him I had a huge crush on him in school and that was when he told me he loved me in high school too and was heartbroken about losing me. We spoke so much! Every single message would turn into a whole night of talking and we realized we still had feelings for each other. But I still didn’t think that he is the one for me because we were poles apart in life and the only thing between us was our school love for each other which was pure. So I left him, stopped messaging him for 6 months as I did not want both of us to undergo pain in a relationship that I felt couldn’t last long or move further.

During the breakup, I could not forget about him nor could he forget about me and the pain of seperation was unbearable. After 6 months we again got in touch and by this time he said he could not let me go and he was willing to talk to my parents after we both settled in our careers. He changed a lot in ways that fit my soulmate qualities list. Suddenly all our goals and dreams became aligned. We became so compatible which never was the case before we parted ways. That was when I realized that the Universe has given my soulmate to me.

He is so caring, loving, understanding and respects me, and supports me in my goals. I could not believe my eyes when I saw how the Universe weaved everything to make my dream come true. Believe me guys, when I was writing my soulmate list I never thought that my first crush from high school would be the one for me. I was always fascinated by stories where high school lovers turn into soulmates and I used to think how lucky they were to find love and see each other grow. But never in my wildest dreams did I think it would happen to me. From being classmates since the age of 12 to planning a family together, the Universe really had unexpected ways of making our dreams come true.

To everyone out there, please believe. Be open to all possibilities. The Universe always works in your favor so let it go.
