If you want people to remember your business or the product you are offering them, then you have to make the message you are sending to them... CREDIBLE.

I'm going to teach you one of the secrets that is guaranteed to make anyone remember your business or your product.

Alot of times, as business owners, when we want to put our contents out there, what usually comes to our mind is, 'Will people believe what we say?'.

And like Professor Berger said, to answer that question, what most of us do is to quickly use statistics, because we think people will believe us more when they hear numbers here and there.

So,... using statistics becomes our default tendency.

Well, the truth is, you're actually going to convince people when you use numbers, because, people are usually wowed! when numbers are mentioned.

They'll feel like, oh! She knows what she's saying!

OK,... so let's say, uhm....

If I told you, 82% of the people who will read this article are expected to press the heart button, while 2% of the people, are most likely to leave an impression below.

And then, the remaining 16% will be indifferent, or they might not remember to do anything.

So, if for instance, I bumped into you next week and ask for these numbers I just mentioned, I'm most certain you won't remember!

You yourself also know you won't remember. Why is that?

It's simple, because numbers are not memorable. 'Cos, .... I don't remember numbers, well, unless you're talking about my money.... like... My money.

I also know for a fact that my sisters hardly remember numbers... A lot of my friends don't remember numbers, and most certainly, your clients or customers don't remember numbers too.

So, the question here is, 'how can by making yourself more credible, do you become more memorable?'

So yeah! If your goal is not just to be convincing when you're selling your product or talking about your business, but you want to ensure you are remembered when you're not present, and you want someone to refer your business or product to another person, even when they're not watching or seeing your advert, then you need to make sure you're getting credibility, beyond just the statistics you're using.

I totally understand that in some situations, using statistics is inevitable. Yes!

At that point you need to find out how to make your message more impactful. In making you message impactful when using statistics, use these numbers in context.
How can I do that you may ask?

By adopting the principle of Testable credentials. And the idea here simply, is to make people convince themselves.

When you're at the point where you get people to convince themselves about you product, business or brand, believe me, your work is done. Not only will they indulge you, but without knowing, they will make it their point of duty to tell everyone about you, your business, brand or product as the case may be.

Let's watch these few seconds video;

Assuming this is your first time of seeing an Apple Iaptop,

what comes to your mind first is that, if it fits in an envelope, then it must be really small.

In this case, Apple didn't say we make vthin computers.

They showed us by comparing it to something we all know and understand which is an envelope. The envelope here stands as a reference point for us to know how slim the laptop is.

I hope you've been able to see how by making your message more credible, you'll be able to make your business or product more memorable.

I hope you enjoyed this article. Kindly share with your friends and family.
