Currently, almost all types of Android devices on the market have built-in apps, which cannot be uninstalled or disabled even if desired. Some of them perform some basic functions of the device.

However, if you make sure that WebView is installed, WebView will work on its own, meaning that it will open separately when you access a website link. Since WebView is important to the performance and functionality of Android apps, its presence and activity exist on mobile phones. So it should not be disabled in any way on the Android system.

However, if Google Chrome is used as a basic thing and forcibly disabled from the device, some problems may arise. In that case, Google Chrome can be left alone unless there is a solution to any storage-related problems other than simply deleting it.

What can be done in this case is to put Google Chrome in sleep mode. As a result, Google Chrome will disappear from the app drawer but will remain in the device's storage as a file.

Google Chrome can be disabled by following a few steps. Although there are some differences depending on the mobile phone model, most of them are the same.

Go to Settings > Apps and find the Google Chrome app.

Then tap the Disable option at the bottom.

On some phones, if you hold the Google Chrome app on the home screen, you will only have to click on the word Disable.
