Rick Henry Christopher Interviews Vocal Writers on YouTube

A few weeks ago, I received a message from Vocal Creator Melissa Ingoldsby. This motivated mother of two asked, "What does it take to get a spot on Ten Questions with Rick Henry Christopher?"

After a brief conversation with her I came up with the idea of doing a special edition of Ten Questions with Rick Henry Christopher. Melissa inspired me to do a show with three Vocal Creators as guests.

After scouting around a bit, I ended up with three of Vocal Media's brightest and most talented writers: Melissa Ingoldsby, Ward Norcutt, and Joe Patterson.

In communicating back and forth I learned a lot about these three creators and struck up some very nice conversations with each one. They all have one thing in common - that is to be successful writers.

Melissa Ingoldsby is a brave young woman. She's not afraid to ask for what she wants. She's willing to put some work into promoting her recently published book "I Am Bexley," a post-apocalyptic zombie story, filled with drama, romance and horror. Melissa's philosophy is to not give up - that's exactly what she's doing. She says Vocal has inspired her to keep writing.

Ward Norcutt is an interesting man. He has a quirky personality that absolutely draws you in and makes you feel like you've been friends forever. He has a good amount of experience having been a drama teacher. Ward (or Wardo as he likes to be called) has written plays, musicals, song lyrics, poems, fiction, short stories, and so forth. He is an all-around writer. Ward has one focus on his mind and that is to succeed as a writer. I'm rooting for you Ward!!!

Joe Patterson is concise and precise in everything he says and does. He knows exactly what he wants to say, and he knows how to say it. There is no trippin' up Joe Patterson. Joe's goal is monumental. He wants to be one of the greatest writers ever. And why not? He has the talent and determination to do it. Somewhere along the way Joe you gotta get yourself in front of the camera more. You have a great screen presence, and I can see you as the host of uh… your very own talk show???

I am so very impressed with all three Vocal Creators, and I feel so honored to be swimming in the same waters with them.

One day I will look back and I will be able to say, "I knew them when…"
