Lorena Oana Stan from Antena 3 CNN

Today we meet Lorena Oana Stan, reporter and CNN journalist for the last two years. Lorena Oana studied her bachelor's degree in communication and public relations at the Faculty of Journalism and Communication Sciences of the University of Bucharest, in the class of 2016-2019. During her student days, she was a volunteer at the Nottara Theater where she had the opportunity, to interact with artists of the acting guild such as Bebe Cotimanis, Mike or Dan Bordeianu. She was in charge of the management and organization of the performance in the auditorium, in addition to getting her first role as a presenter at the awards ceremony. Such experience gave her the ability to speak in front of an audience.

During 2018, Lorena Oana made her second volunteering in NGO Edit, being part of the project “Hora Educación Vial”. Said project, worked as training in children's education for boys and girls about the danger of traffic. Her volunteer role included writing and publishing informative articles on road safety education. This became her starting point as a writer.

In June 2019, Lorena got her first job as a Copywriter at Media Image Group SRL in Bucharest, Romania. The following year, she specialized as a background research analyst at Mindit Consulting. She obtained a position as a marketing specialist for OMNIASIG Vienna Insurance Group. Such knowledge led her towards her first role as a TV presenter, at Intact Media Academy, from September 2021, until early 2022. Her last training took place at British American Tobacco, as a Human Resources specialist.

Since March 2022, Lorena Oana has been part of the Antena 3 CNN team as a journalist, reporter and content writer.

Her career reflects her commitment and passion for journalism. Since her early days, she has demonstrated a remarkable ability to work under pressure, facing tight deadlines and challenging situations with admirable calm. Both as a volunteer and on the board of a company. Her discipline is evident in her daily routine, and perseverance is one of her most outstanding traits. Lorena Oana never gives up in the face of obstacles, whether it is a difficult story to research or a deeply analytical interview.
