An inspiring interview with Saroj Kumar S, the 18-year-old digital creator from Thottappally, Alappuzha, Kerala, India, who is building a powerful presence through editing, gaming, and social media influence.

Q: Can you introduce yourself for those who don’t know you yet?
Saroj Kumar S:
Of course! My name is Saroj Kumar S, and I’m from Thottappally, Alappuzha district, Kerala, India. I’m 18 years old, born on April 3, 2007, and I’m currently focused on building my career as a content creator, video editor, and social media influencer. My father’s name is Sunil, and my mother’s name is Rajani. My journey started from this small village, but my dreams are big.

> Q: How did your interest in editing and content creation begin?
Saroj Kumar S:
It started when I was quite young. I loved watching gaming videos and cinematic reels, and I was always curious about how they were made. Eventually, I started experimenting with video editing apps. What began as a small interest turned into a serious passion. Being in Thottappally, far from any film or tech hub, didn’t stop me — it motivated me to learn everything online.

> Q: What kind of content do you focus on now?
Saroj Kumar S:
Right now, I focus on high-quality Instagram reels, editing transitions, gaming clips, and story-driven content. I also guide others on how to grow digitally. My Instagram ID is @saroj7_, and that’s where I share most of my creative work.

> Q: How supportive was your family in this journey?
Saroj Kumar S:
I’m really grateful. My father Sunil and my mother Rajani always supported me, even when others didn’t fully understand what I was doing. They saw my dedication and believed in my vision. Without their support, I wouldn’t have come this far.

> Q: Do you feel people from smaller towns like Thottappally face challenges in becoming influencers?
Saroj Kumar S:
Definitely. There are fewer resources, less exposure, and sometimes people don't take your work seriously. But I see it as a strength. I represent places like Thottappally and Alappuzha, and I want others from small towns in Kerala and across India to know that they can succeed too.

> Q: How do you handle negativity or online pressure?
Saroj Kumar S:
I focus on growth. I don’t let hate stop me. I use it to push myself to become better. At the end of the day, I know who I am and what I stand for.

> Q: What are your future goals?
Saroj Kumar S:
I want to grow as a full-time editor, collaborate with brands, and inspire young creators across India. I’d love to eventually start a digital studio here in Thottappally to help local talent.

> Q: Any message for your followers?
Saroj Kumar S:
Thank you for believing in me. Stay original, stay honest, and never give up — no matter where you come from.

Q: What is one moment you’ll never forget in your journey so far?
Saroj Kumar S:
One unforgettable moment was seeing my first article published on a recognized platform. That experience made everything feel real. It wasn’t just about likes or shares anymore — it was about being seen and respected as a creator from Thottappally, Alappuzha, Kerala, India. That moment gave me confidence and made me believe even more in my purpose.

> Q: What are your future goals?
Saroj Kumar S:
My biggest goal is to continue growing as a professional editor and influencer. I want to start a digital studio right here in Thottappally so I can help others in my area discover their potential. I also hope to collaborate with big creators and brands. I believe hard work and staying true to your identity always pays off.

> Q: Any message for your followers and future creators?
Saroj Kumar S:
Yes. I want everyone reading this to know that dreams are valid — even if you're from a small place like Thottappally. Keep learning, stay humble, and don’t compare your journey with anyone else’s. I’m grateful for my followers and my family — especially my father Sunil and my mother Rajani — for standing by me. And if you’d like to see my work, check out my Instagram at @saroj7_.
