I love tarts.

I like Lemon tarts, cherry tarts, Jam tarts, and most tarts.

I also love savory tarts.

Tarts are delicious, so to those of you who have been called a tart, I applaud you because you must be tasty.

I have been called a tart, and I have heard other women being called tarts!

It's highly hilarious that some people think they are insulting us by calling us these names.

If you have been called a tart, don't take it as an insult. See it as a compliment.

They might think they are insulting you, but they are actually saying that you are tasty!

Not everybody loves tarts, but some of us do, and that is a fact.

Mmm! It makes you wonder if they are actually complimenting you with your favorite food.

The funny thing is, I don't even wear fruit on my face, and I'm not made of pastry. However, if you think I'm a tart, I must be very fruity!

Many people become offended at being called a tart, but remember you are full of flavor.

Whoever called you this name must be very jealous because you obviously taste better than them.

I just simply smile and say,

"Thank you, that's sweet that you think I'm so tasty!"

It's funny to see them become offended because you think they have just paid you a compliment, rather than an insult, and it's better than arguing with creeps!

Sometimes people say stupid things, and need a food dictionary to educate themselves!

People can be weird!

The best way to be assertive with names like these is to agree with them and divert them to a different meaning.

Half of the time, they only do it to get at you, and what is the point in using a food name in order to do that?

Remember, food tastes good; so if you've been insulted with food, then you must taste good.

If you taste good, then welcome!

You're my favorite kind of dessert, and can I have custard with that, please?

If you're a lemon tart, please be kind and leave the custard off. I prefer them without it.

I bought you from a shop because I want to eat you tonight!

When I was called a tart, I told that person that I cost

£1.68 a piece, and £3.00 a pack.

The look on that person's face was astonishing, and they shut up instantly.

I walked away with my head held high, and my pride intact.

Why wouldn't I?

I don't need to be called a tart in order to know that I am tasty!

Here is a point, names are designed to hurt you, get back at you, and cause you to react.

In some cases, it's best to say nothing, in others you can choose to walk away, and then there are cases where you can simply laugh it off!

I was obviously perfectly baked today, and just look at my beautiful golden crust!

My hat fits me perfectly.

I'm a fashion star, straight off the red carpet!

Wow! I had no idea that I was that perfect!

All I want to say is this.

Tarts are delicious, they make me hungry!

Next time you call a woman a tart. Remember a tart is not an insult, it's a delicious food.

I have rules for when you eat me.

  • Wash your hands so that you don't dirty me.
  • Clean your hands and face after eating me.
  • Treat me delicately, for I am precious.
  • Use a fork. I don't want your germs.

And finally,

Thank you for calling me a tart. I am tasty, and you just made my day!

If something is tart, it is also a taste that you cannot forget. ;)
