Tiffany's Barbies go rogue.

Yep, they are at it again. But this time they have crossed the Mamma line.

The Barbies are growing up fast, and these are not your ordinary teenagers. They are beautiful, smart, sassy, ambitious and wise beyond their years.

Promise, Majestic-Journey, Earthie-Larue and all the other Barbies behaved like perfect ladies during the day. It made their Mamma Tiffy wonder what in the world had happened to them.

She thought of asking Mischief-Marie, but that little one can keep a secret even when threatened with her life.

Where were the teenage pranks, angst and general hullabaloo which went with the teenage hormonal years. One moment they were monsters and the next proper little ladies. Now they are impeccably dressed, well behaved, saying please and thank you and helping with chores...chores!!! Why, even yesterday they volunteered to go shopping...shopping for groceries, at the grocery store!!!

Nope, Mamma decided, something was horribly wrong. Oh my God, she thought in her head, are these even my children, did someone clone them and returned the clones to her!!! Mamma vowed to sleep on the matter and confront them in the morning.

But what Mamma didn't know was that the Barbies waited until she was asleep and snuck out the window. The didn't dare use the door, the old thing squeaked and rattled like a bucket of old rusted bolts. Which it actually was as the house was really nice, but so old.

Tiff and Fanni, the twins who are named after their grandmother Tiffani, and not their Mamma Tiffany were always first out the window. They sure loved the naughty adventures, they had heard so much about their Grammama who had been a wild one in her time, they wished that they had known her, she sounded like so much fun.

Meeka was the only Barbie doll who didn't sneak out at night, she was busy studying and planning her college education. Meeka was more like her Mamma Tiffany than all the other children, she was kind, considerate and always looked out for others, her sisters always teased her about being so like Mamma. But she knew that her sisters were being bad.

Meeka looked out the window just as Barbie came whizzing in on her Barbie-mobile, she was the one influencing the dolls to go do mischief at nights.

The dolls would then hop into their Tiffi-mobile and off they would go to do Meeka knew not what!!!!

The bad Barbies would pick upscale department stores, Barbie (the original) would use her skeleton key which opened everything, to let them all in.

Did I mention that the Barbies come to life whenever they needed to live just like real humans, so no one would be looking for dolls when they went about doing bad things at nights and stuff went missing.

The girls would spend the night, first clubbing and dancing, teasing the boys silly, drinking champagne (of course they had fake ID's, Barbie saw to that) and having a grand time, before heading to the store.

So, they modeled the best designer clothes, handbags, earrings, shoes, jewelry, swimsuit apparel, undies, bras...you name it they got it. They would bag them in beautiful store accessory bags and, without paying, head back to the Barbie-mobiles and head home for a few hours of sleep before Mamma woke up. The loot they would hide under their beds.

Tiffany woke up early, saw them all off to classes and decided against her usual rule of giving the Barbies their privacy, and went snooping in their rooms. She could never get a straight answer from the girls about how they were able to afford the really lovely clothing which they wore. They did do some babysitting from time to time, but how much did that pay?

Meeka never ratted them out, if she did, she would pay the price of her betrayal of her sisters. They could really be mean when they wanted to be.

Mamma Tiffy found all the expensive stuff, stuffed under the beds. Now that she thought about it, she had seen the news about young women brazenly robbing the stores at nights, not even trying to disguise their identities. But the weird thing was that the police could find no fingerprints or facial recognition for the culprits. Weird indeed!!!!

Tiffany, being completely mortified, confronted the Barbies later that evening. Many tears and hysterics later, she packed them into her food mobile and drove them to the police station.

Leaving them outside, she went in and explained to the officer on duty that her Barbies had been the ones responsible for the break-ins at the stores.

"Ah, Captain Ma'am, this lady says her Barbie dolls are the ones who robbed the stores". The officer called to his superior as she passed by.

"Did you say Barbies, Ralph. Because people know it is a crime to waste law enforcement time with false reports, right"? Captain Kendra said, while glaring murderously at Tiffany.

"I am telling the truth"! Tiffy said, feeling affronted and insulted. In retrospect she could actually see their point.

"And where are these Barbies now"? Kendra asked.

"Outside in my truck, I can have them come in if you want". Replied Tiffy.

"By all means, please do"! Said the Captain.

But the Barbies absolutely refused to transform and accompany their Mamma. They had warned her that this would happen. They All knew that the morals of their Mamma would never allow them to get away with such a horrid thing. This would be their first offense, probably getting them a slap on the wrist, but the high value of the merchandise they had taken would probably land them in juvenile detention, maybe prison (which Mamma said was highly unlikely as they were underage) but you never know, Mamma is forgetting our high melanin content.

And furthermore, they may have to rat out original B, she would probably get a pat on the wrist though.

The captain and a few of the officers curiously walked outside after Tiffany took a while to return. She showed them the many lovely dolls reposing in innocence and quiet stillness in her truck. The policepersons kept a straight face, not wanting to offend her. But Tiffy could hear the guffaws and snickers.

They, however, threatened her with a straight jacket and a ride to the insane asylum if she wasted their time again.

"Goodnight, Barbies"! The Captain called over her shoulders.

"Goodnight". The Barbies answered in unison as Kendra walked off. She turned around, puzzled at the chorus of voices, but shook it off as tiredness and went back inside the station.

Tiffy felt silly, but much better. At least she had tried to do the right thing. It was not her fault that they thought her quite mad.

The punishment

Tiffany chose an Orphanage and the local hospital. For the next 6 months the Barbies spent 2 hours per day volunteering. They read, cleaned puke, changed diapers, pushed wheelchairs and taught reading to the little ones at the Orphanage. They were so tired in the evenings that after homework and small chores, they fell into bed too tired for pranks and nigh time rides. Original Barbie eventually joined them at volunteering. Tiffy had had a stern talk with her, encouraging a confrontation with B's momma.

In fact, they enjoyed the evenings with the children so much, that they continued volunteering until they went away to college.

Captain Kendra wondered why the mysterious disappearances of clothing and such in the stores had stopped.

Could the crazy lady have not been so crazy after all.

Well, she would never know, would she?

Lawd my babies flew the coop! I guess that's what I get for being such a helicopter parent! Lol Thank God I had the power to reign them back in in the end! Serves them right! Why did their night adventures sound like so much fun aside from the stealing part! Man I wish I had a real food mobile that specialized in nothing but cupcakes and ice cream! Lol This was quite the splendid story! It was so much fun and you made everyone look so gorgeous! The imagery was just magnificent! Thx 4 making my Saturday Novie! You rock! 😆
