Funniest City and Town Names
Unintentionally Hilarious and Vulgar

These places have the most unusual, and occasionally vulgar, names of all time. One can only ponder how the citizens of these towns must feel regarding visitors or passersby. Either way, these placenames have their own story to tell.
A Literal Hell on Earth.

There are two places in the world where people literally can go to Hell! Of all the weirdly places in the world Hell happens to be the name of two villages.
Firstly, In the great state of Michigan there is a place for people can literally go to Hell...
Hell, Michigan...yes that is it's literal name is a place where people actually live and work. Not that there anyone is being employed to torture the damned for all eternity...
In fact it's certain points held Michigan literally has Sub-Zero temperatures which literally could speculate that Hell does indeed freeze over
Meanwhile over in Norway also called Hell. Well not much is even noted about this wonderful place it is home to a notable person Mona Grudt. She's been literally called The beauty Queen from hell. I have to ponder if she has devil horns as well! If that's the case then she could be a succubus!
And just as it is with Hell, Michigan; Hell, Norway also experiences Sub-Zero degree temperatures as well! So when people say Hell froze over,
It should be noted that hell in Norwegian means luck. One can only ponder what they call their place of eternal torment in Norwegian Christianity.
But regardless of one's religious affiliation hell in the religious sense is not a place to go it is definitely not a place anyone would want to end up how have your living in Michigan or Norway that's probably not the case because Hell, Michigan and Hell, Norway seem like quaint little towns with an unusual name which probably gets a bad reputation considering the fact that people have expect to see a pitchfork welding red man with horns and a goatee walking around.
Austrian Town Gets New Name For Obvious Reason
Prior to 2021; Fugging, Austria was known by this name:

It's no wonder the name was changed! The fact this town's name could not be said on television speaks volumes! Just imagine the times the dump button was pushed every time someone said its name!
But, knowing the original town name was a vulgar joke in itself, it was bound to turn heads!
What is this? 1930s Germany!?

For all you White Supremacists out there, don't get too excited now. Swastika, Ontario had the name first and its highly doubtful any of you would be welcome there. But then again, the white x-shaped cross makes one wonder...
As it is with Hell, Norway and Hell, Michigan; Its imaginable how disappointed fledgling skin heads feel when they travel to Swastika, Ontario expecting to find Nazi memorabilia and Horst Wessel Lied playing over the loudspeakers only to come across a small quaint town with an unusual name.
There is also a Swastika, New York as well. However, it seems they post swastikas here! However, as it is with Swastika, Ontario, they don't take kindly to Nazi ideology either.
Utter Sewage!

No, this is NOT an A.I. image! It is a real town in the United Kingdom. As for the name, Shitterton, according to its meaning, as "farmstead on the stream used as an open sewer", it's quite fitting if you think about it! Pew! No wonder why it smells so bad! As it was with Fu...er...Fugging, Austria, this town name cannot be spoken on television!
Just from the name alone, everyone can smell Shitterton miles away! In fact, the smell of this place is rumored to reach across the globe! It wouldn't be surprising if aliens could smell this place as well!
A Silly Place

Silly, Belgium is a funny place to outsiders. It's name alone conjures mental images of clowns and comedians. Just don't expect a circus here. One can only speculate if the people of Silly are fed up with those making their town the butt of jokes.
However, the people of Silly Belgium should at least take solace that their town isn't called Shitterton, or Fucking, or Swastika, or Hell for that matter.
