Have you ever noticed that the word “noticed” is kind of like a sneaky compound word?

Not~iced

It feels rude to me that the word “compound” is not a compound word at all.

Also, it would appear that the word noticed is not iced, which means that the temperature of the word is likely hot or possibly it is lukewarm?

Lukewarm is not lukewarm about being a compound word, at least, because it IS a compound word…

Now, I cannot help but notice that it appears that there are some pears growing in the last couple of sentences. Another thing to take note of is that the pears have, not eyes, but ears!

Before I finish this,

can I point out that the word “finish” only has one “fin” in it?

I’m just picturing the word “finish”swimming around in a circle, because it doesn’t have two fins, like most sensible fish have. I suppose if they duplicated the word finish like the following:

“Finish finish,”

then people like me wouldn’t have to imagine the word finish swimming in desperate circles of insanity… but instead, I could envision the two duplicated words swimming toward a determined destination…

But… the problem with this is that it leads me to think that it simply wouldn’t be the end, or “finish finish” of the story about the fish.

Because, now, I’m wondering where the fish, with two “fins” is headed?

Did the fish notice that there were pears growing? Or, perhaps the pears are floating in the water?

The ironic thing about the word ironic is that there are two “i”s staring straight at you every time you look at the word ironic. I wager that the temperature of the word ironic is very scalding hot because did you notice that there is an iron at the beginning part of the word ironic?

If you did, that’s great but if you didn’t notice, maybe you’ll notice from here on out… for the rest of your life!

Back to the fish, how far has it swam out about now?

I’m not sure at all. But, what I noticed is that the word “finish” has all the letters to make the word “fish” and it’s a two-eyed fish or a four eyed-fish if you duplicate the - finish finish.

In summary, I suppose we can deduce that a four-eyed fish, with two fins, noticed floating lukewarm pears, with ears, that had not been iced. He had swam away from a very hot, ironic compound of other fish, to find the finish to his destiny and life. His destiny ended up being tiny, because he noticed the word “tiny” at the end of the word destiny! Now, maybe, we could justify an actual…

Finish finish…

Author’s Note:

I hope you now feel inspired to find other ways that you can play with words. Simply start thinking and before long, you have a whole bunch of silly ideas that explode onto the page. What words do you find intriguing or confusing or ironically hysterical? Truly, even the word “stale” has a tale to tell if you remove the “s.” The “s” reminds me of a snake! How long would it take for you to make a tale about a snake that was not even remotely fake? Okay, okay, all kidding aside!

Start d i sse c ting some words and see where the letters like to lounge. Or, maybe the words you find don’t like to lounge at all in the lounge but, maybe, they prefer to bake in the kitchen instead? Do the words make sense or do some of them make you shudder and wince? Do some words smell the cooking, competitive game, or do other words hideout and pretend to be lame? Tell me, tell me, in your next post, and post the link to your wordy pot roast in the comments below… 👇

I'm so glad this won a Top Story! I actually read this for the first time in a doctor's waiting room yesterday but didn't get back to commenting until now. When I saw it yesterday in the feed, I was immediately super impressed with the Title! I don't even know how you came up with those wiggly flaggy marks. 🤣 I think it's so cool. But then that your formatting choices enhance your subject matter throughout. It elevates the humor. Just fun observations overall. I think the cover photo is cute too. 😉 Do you prefer Rowan or Jesse? I'm good with Bill, Bolt, LB, whatever. Love your writing, sir. ⚡💙 ⚡

First of all, where are his arms. Are those fishes 👀 oh my gosh those legs 🦵🏾🤣 Not- iced is quite sneaky. I like how tricky and stimulating this is becoming. Especially the one about the pears having ears. Iron in ironic. Yes, because of you I will notice it for the rest of my life. Oh this was fantastic. I like that you created a story out of these compound words. You're very creative indeed, congratulations on your top story, Rowan 🎉 🤗❤️

I’ve been using Tradecrypts for the last two months and have already made a $3,000 profit. So far, it’s been a smooth and positive experience. The platform is very user-friendly, even for beginners, and their customer support has been responsive and helpful whenever I had questions. I also appreciate the accuracy and reliability of the market data they provide. Overall, I feel confident using Tradecrypts and would definitely recommend it to both new and experienced traders.

Ohhh this was a full-on word-circus! That’s the kind of stuff English teachers whisper about in candlelit rooms.
