HAPPINESS VS SADNESS

Happiness is a core aspect of life, through which life is dominated and most individuals find meaning in what they do. It is an emotion that is permanent and not temporary or existential and goes beyond satisfaction and work-life-altering feeling. Here’s why happiness is essential:

1. Enhances Mental and Physical Health:

It must also be noted that there has been scientific evidence of the connection of happiness as a factor in enhancing well-being. Psychologically happy individuals physically are less stressed, anxious or depressed. This positivity directly affects the actual physical well being of a human being, builds up the immune system, reduces risk of heart disease, not to mention that it leads to longer, healthier lives.

2. Improves Relationships:

People who have positive effects have better and more significant attachment interactions. It is with happiness that we all extend our best vibes by embracing trust, empathy, and compassion thus developing healthy relationships with family, friends or co-workers.

3. Boosts Productivity and Creativity:

If one is happy, the mind is said to be open, innovative and also focused. This improves efficiency and functioning solutions in everyday life making us more productive personally and professionally.

4. Provides Resilience:

Happiness commissioned from us is an effective means to match adversities and failure. It promotes optimism, its people develop resilience and are always ready to start fresh after failure.

5. Adds Meaning to Life:

Third, that happiness is inextricably connected to the idea of leading a dignified life. While the ‘self’ is happy it gets to achieve most of its desires and dreams, it gets to establish worthwhile goals and be of benefit to society.

SADNESS

That means, happiness is the key to a happy and healthy balanced life. The fact that life has no faults is not the key issue but the capacity to live and cherish each part of our life. Applying the prioritization of this value for happiness brings joy into our lives and the lives of others. Anger though is considered normal is dangerous if the feeling is allowed to fester out or develop into a full blown rage that will seep into all sections of life. Depression or grief produces protracted sadness that causes a cataract effect that adversely affects mental, physical, and social health. Here’s how sadness can destroy life

1. Mental Health Deterioration

Prolonged feelings of sorrow spur negative cognition, decreased self-esteem, hopelessness, and lead to depression and anxiety. This continuous emotional pressure erodes self esteem and hinders one’s ability to reason leading to an endless cycle of hopelessness.

2. Self-Care Consequences-General Health Outcomes

The proof, that sadness has a direct effect on physical health, concerns itself with mind-body relationship. Cohabitation can turn a man into a couch potato as he is constantly watched; sadness can lower the immune system, causing more illnesses. It also has links to fatigue, sleep problems, and possibly chronic diseases, such as heart diseases. The daily high-stress hormone fallout that comes with enduring sadness can physically stress the body, presuming the life and vigor of a human being.

3. Strain on Relationships

Depression tends to make people withdraw; they avoid their friends and family members. They experience suppressed communication which increases conflict and results in poor relationships. This isolation makes these people sadder and can lead to feelings of loneliness, which only fuels the sadness some more.

4. Non-productive Beliefs Loss of motivation

Depression saps the energy and bargains away the will to accomplish the necessities of life, let alone goals. It may result in low accomplishment and fulfillment in personal and task arenas, negative feelings such as failure and remorse.

5. Diminished Quality of Life

Sorrow fills people’s lives and makes them unhappy if they stay in this state for a long time. She is bored with hobbies, friends, and other purposes and ends up living a life that has no purpose.

As with every emotion, when anger is left unaddressed it can become a dominant force in an individual's life, compromising even one's will to live.
