Wrapped Up In My Own Little World
How Life Is Only Dictated By You And You alone

How much is enough? How much money will satisfy you? Why do you do what you do? Do you work to survive? Do you work because you enjoy the environment? Do you work because of the camaraderie between colleagues? Or do you work because if you didn’t you wouldn’t know what to do? Or are you a robot who says you will never retire? Do you have goals that once reached, will change the course of your life?

Questions like the above are on peoples’ minds day in and day out and even though you may go through the monotony of work and do a great job at it, your life on this planet is limited and time is short. Take time to make a plan. Your plan does not have to be typed, just grab a piece of paper and a pen and go at it. You can be as unorganized as you want or run a strict protocol, it is entirely up to you, but at least make the effort. Otherwise, you may drift aimlessly towards the abyss of the horizon. You have heard the phrase a half a dozen times in your life, but it is true, if you fail to plan, you plan to fail. Take the time to make a short, medium and long-term plan. Knowing your life’s plan will help you organize your life into something so extraordinary and, most importantly, at the pace you dictate. If your short term-plan is a month and medium term plan is a year and long-term plan is 5 years, so be it. It does not matter one iota what the length of time for each is, just put something in place and follow to the best of your ability because life goes by in a blink of an eye.
Your future goals do not have to stress the need of a certain level of lifestyle rather what you wish to attain in your life on a different paradigm. If you desire to live off-grid, see how your time and efforts will get you there and make the plan. Your life’s plan and vision will go astray at times and I, at least, think this is just the natural course of life, but when it does go off course, just adjust your plan, don’t give up because you failed at a multitude of things. Keep pushing and you will get there if you try. I have countless stories of both succeeding and failing in life. If you do not get back on your feet after failing, what is this thing we call life? Take a moment, be it an hour, day, week, month, or year and dust yourself off. Get ready to give it a go again. You will be happy you did.
I have things in my life which I study and analyze in my free time and that’s for me and no one else. They are my passions and I find joy in figuring out these issues, whether seemingly complex or simple they are. When I finish my research for the day, wrapped up in my own thoughts, I feel satisfied, relaxed and thankful that I have the ability for free thought and I am not controlled by any other people, institutions of any sort or the latest gimmicks of the day in any industry. I step away from perceived reality and go into my fantasy land and no matter how unrealistic or ill-conceived others would see it, it does not matter as the thoughts are driven solely by me in my own little world that only I can dictate at the end of each glorious day.
