World of fools

There lived a farmer named Karalchi in a village. His income was so good that he could easily feed his wife and daughter. Karalchi raised his daughter Kirali with great love and care. Kirali loved her father very much.

Karalchis wife would prepare food every day at noon and Kirali would go to the farm to meet her father with the food. She would return home only after feeding her father with her own hands.

One day when Kirali left with the food, the sun was very hot. On the way, she sat under a tree and started taking rest. Then she saw that a monkey was sitting on the tree. Karailchis wife and daughter Kirali ran after him to please him, but by then Karailchi had gone far away. While walking, Karalchi reached a nearby village. He saw that there was a crowd at one place. He tried to go inside and find out the reason. He found that people were gathered around a pond. The moon was visible in the water. Many people were claiming that they would catch the moon.

Every person would come forward after paying the fee to catch the moon, and then try to catch the moon in the water. The rest of the people were clapping as spectators and enjoying the competition of catching the moon.

Karalchi moved ahead after seeing the foolishness of the people. There he saw that an old womans hand was stuck in a tin box. Many people were trying to pull her hand out.

The old woman was screaming in pain but her hand was not coming out. Karalchi asked what was the matter He was told that the box was filled with wheat and the old woman was trying to take it out by filling her fist with wheat. Then her hand got stuck in the box and now it is not coming out.
