Why I Won't Leave My Wife, Even If She Has Extramarital Affair - Peter Obi
Peter Obi opens up

In most romantic relationships, the ultimate betrayal for lovers is that their significant other cheats on them with somebody else. In a marriage, of course this is heightened, and extramarital affairs are one of the leading causes of divorce from marriages. But for Nigerian politician, Peter Obi, even an extramarital affair is not enough to separate him from his wife.
Peter Obi made this revelation during an appearance on The Honest Bunch podcast. Here is what the popular politician had to say on the topic.

Speaking about why an extramarital affair is not enough to make him leave his wife, Peter Obi said:
PETER OBI: No matter what my wife does today, I can't stop marrying her, and I can't separate with her. I can never. Even if she likes, let her use a gun to shoot me. As long as I'm alive, she's my wife. That's it. That's me. As long as I'm alive, she is my wife, that is sealed, finished. Whatever she likes, let her do.
Because what is she going to do that will offend me? What? Maybe have an affair, it's her business. It's not me. They won't say the two of us had an affair. They will say "Peter Obi is a very good man who married a woman who is wayward", that's it. Nobody can describe me—you can't quantify me with the life of my wife or my children, no.
We have different lifestyles. Even if I'm travelling with my wife, people have seen it. People have seen my wife in business class, they've seen her in first class, and I'm in different class, and we are in the same plane. Because that is what suits her, we don't quarrel with it. It suits you but it doesn't conflict with my interests. If I travel with her, she's in business and in economy. Why? Because it suits her, and we're not quarrelling with it.
