When the LEGENDS MEET
When Queen Elizabeth II visited Kamal Haasan's film shoot in Chennai

Heartily Condolences to the long live Queen ELIZABETH II
Queen Elizabeth II, the UK's longest-serving monarch, died on Thursday at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. She was 96.
“Most probably that is the only film shoot she had attended"
To Me it remembers her visit to the sets of his unfinished venture 'Marudhanaygam,' during her visit to Chennai in 1997. remaining that the actor shared that the late Queen came to the sets “very much aware” of the dialogues to be delivered against the colonial rule, in the backdrop of which the movie is set to be based. Marudhanayagam, which was never released, was based on the freedom struggle against the British. Kamal Haasan shared that she had the realisation that the world and its politics had changed.

"The dialogues we had were against the colonial rule. She came there despite knowing that...it shows she didn't come as a queen but as a mother, someone who realised politics has changed, the world has changed. I liked that," Haasan told reporters in Chennai. She lived a "complete" life and reigned for long, he added.
Earlier, in a series of tweets, he said the late queen was loved not only by the Britishers but by people all over the world. "Twenty-five years ago, she accepted our invitation and attended the inaugural of Marudhanayagam and greeted us. Most probably that is the only film shoot she had attended," as i Know.

He also fondly recalled his meeting with her at Buckingham Palace five years ago when he had visited London for a cultural show and shared a picture of their meeting. The veteran actor expressed his condolence to the royal family and the British people.

Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip hosted an evening celebrating Britain's close ties with India, marking the launch of the UK-India Year of Culture 2017.
The royals greeted a glittering line-up of sports stars, actors, musicians, politicians and diplomats at the festive affair held at Buckingham Palace.
Outside a giant peacock - the national bird of India - was projected onto the facade of Buckingham Palace.
The Indian delegation was led by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and included names like Southern superstar Kamal Haasan, Grammy award winning musician Anoushka Shankar, Big Bang Theory star Kunal Nayar, British TV star Preeya Kalidas, cricketing icon Kapil Dev, veteran actor Jackie Shroff, chef Vikas Khanna and Bollywood film producer Sheetal Talwar among others.
Kamal Haasan spoke about the event and told a section of the media: “The Queen seemed in good health and remembered her visit to India fondly. The Duke of Edinburgh was in great shape and health as well. The exchange was brief as there were too many people. You might remember during Her Majesty’s visit to India, she visited my film set. Probably the only film shooting she had attended in her whole life."
He further went on to say, “This is a great occasion to celebrate the shared history of India and the UK. The English language is the best example of that and I often refer to it as a great Indian language that unites us all."
On the work front, Kamal Haasan was seen in the smash hit Vikram, alongside Vijay Sethupathi and Fahadh Faasil. The film also had a cameo appearance by Suriya. He will next be seen in Indian 2, also starring Kajal Aggarwal, Siddharth, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Bobby Simha, Guru Somasundaram and Samuthirakani.
The Unfortunate is that the Queen died and the film is still not yet finished. the film started in 1973 and still the work is going on. his recent movie VIKRAM was super duper hit in India. kindly watch the movie if time permits my readers.
we wish the best to Mr.kamalhassan for up coming film and years.
