How scary the dark web is and why you should be careful on it!

What's the first thing that comes to mind when you think of the dark web? Is it human trafficking, trading in banned drugs, or arms smuggling? Since the infamous Room N incident in South Korea, more and more people have become aware of the existence of the dark web.

Those who know him describe him as mysterious, scary and lawless, yet more people are drawn to be curious to find out what it's really like, but what is the Dark Web really like?

Nowadays, the Internet has penetrated into every aspect of our lives, whether it is our food, clothing, housing, transport or entertainment, it is closely related to it.

If we imagine the Internet world as an iceberg floating on the surface of the sea, what we can see is only the tip of a small iceberg exposed on the surface of the sea. Below the surface of the sea, there is in fact a more massive iceberg base hidden, this only hear the concept but no one peeped into another hidden network world, is what we have only heard of the deep network, this world has black and white, there is light and there is dark, the world of the Internet is no exception.

The Internet is divided into three layers, the surface network, the deep network and the dark network. The surface network is in the surface layer of the Internet, accounting for 4% of all networks, and can be accessed through standard search engines, such as our usual Google, a certain degree, Penguin, a certain treasure, a certain east, etc. These Internet networks are open to all users and can basically provide us with all the needs of daily business.

The Deep Web is simply understood as the part of the Internet that is not indexed by search and is only used by private institutions or organisations, and is protected by passwords from the outside world, and cannot be accessed without passwords or permissions, not all of the Deep Web are illegal websites, such as the internal work networks of banks, governments, hospitals, such as your personal email, your personal netbook, are all part of the Deep Web.

The dark web is a relatively small part of the deep web, an encrypted network built on top of the existing internet. The dark web is not something that can be accessed casually, it requires some special software or authorisation to enter this world.

Realistically and logically, without certain technical means or financial support, you cannot find the door to the dark web, and any access to the dark web is anonymous. The dark web is a black market on the internet, full of unrestricted information leaks, fraudulent and illegal transactions.

The horrors of the dark web

The real dark web is actually much bigger than you think, and the real horror of the dark web is that it is easy for ordinary people to ignore it. Over 95% of the world's illegal online transactions are done on the dark web, such as illegal trading, human trafficking, arms smuggling, illegal drugs, secret information interactions, etc. Many people wonder why there are so many fraudulent phone calls and harassment.

In fact, your personal information has been sold to many fraudulent companies through the dark web, usually you do not pay attention, he does not feel pain, but when you delve deeper, it is really thoughtful, many of the world's invisible crimes, most of them will be hidden by the dark web.

Take for example Silk Road, which was exposed in 2013 and was created in 2011 by Ross Williams-Ublich. On the site, you can not only buy illegal guns, ammunition, controlled substances and everything else that is illegal, but you can also customize fake IDs, degree certificates, passports and more.

The website also specializes in hiring hackers to hack into the systems of various reputable universities and upgrade their information to ensure that the website is sold with fresh first-hand information in it, there is nothing you can't buy, only what you can't think of, but just two years later, Ross Ulbrich had about $100 million in his personal account when he was caught.

And while the seized Bitcoin, at its peak in 2017, was worth a whopping $2.8 billion, the full-scale crackdown on Silk Road has only cleared the way for other criminals of its kind, and as the market has demanded it, new Silk Roads keep popping up on the dark web, even enhanced versions.

Silk Road is just the tip of the iceberg, and just because you hide your IP address on the dark web doesn't mean you can truly hide yourself on the dark web, because on the dark web you may have even less privacy protection than you do on the surface network, knowing that while it is full of evil, it is also really full of a group of talented individuals.

These people use their high intelligence to commit crimes that leave people defenceless. Some people accidentally get a login to the dark web and end up being sacked with nothing left on this dark web platform, even if the blowback is not so complete in reality, this is a world controlled by the internet, you are sacked in the cyber world and probably even your existence as a person is distorted.

Is the unfettered world really free?

In addition to the dark web being filled with crime, there is also a lot of secret information declassified, and the source of many of the urban legends you hear about, most of them come from the dark web, such as the famous Dawaii War, the secret space program and so on, so in this world is the real unrestrained world, but you think that in here, you get absolute freedom, you are wrong, in the absence of restraint, the ugliness here In the absence of restraint, the ugliness here will definitely refresh your outlook instantly, what with the illegal trading of forged information of all kinds, the release of extreme ideas and so on.

And those so-called alien decryption sections are just a form of entertainment on the dark web. In reality, the dark web is a big ploy by some conspiracy groups to control people's lives, to create an unrestrained world, to attract many people who are restless or have evil intentions to enter here, and then quickly devour everything they have.

Because there is no absolute freedom in this world, only orderly freedom that allows human beings to survive. Behind absolute freedom is extreme chaos, and although what we can see as far as the eye can see is not all the world as it really is, there is really no need to dig deeper into what is in those corners.

Normal people don't need to go in there either, and if it's just to satisfy curiosity, here's a word of advice. While it's true that some people get rich overnight in such a world, I believe that if you're hard-working and intelligent enough, you can still create wealth with your own hands, rather than in a world where you can't see the light of day and hurt people as a way to achieve profit.

Stay away from the dark web

Why should you be advised to curb your curiosity and stay away from the dark web?

First of all, when you visit the dark web, you may have inadvertently exposed yourself to the dark web. Your client can easily be hacked and your privacy, including your bank card, is in danger of being exposed, and even an unintentional click on a link can make you a criminal.

On top of that, you may see images that you will never forget, even though we all know that the dark web is full of crime, blood, pornography, violence and more.

But what you don't know is that what you see will be bottomless and far beyond what is acceptable to normal people. I hope that we can all live happily in the bright sunshine, away from darkness and sin.
