What is a snitch?

What is a snitch? There are several answers depending on where you from. I was taught that a snitch, is one that volunteer information to get from under their current situation. Of course, this can be interpreted in a lot of ways. For the most part is about mining your own business. To be honest, most perspective of it is very watered-down. Even though, I am from the streets ; I see it from several ways. Just different experiences in life allow you to see things uniquely.

The problem with the whole snitching concept are the people involved. Because, we basically took old mob and Mafia concepts, and implemented them in the streets. So in other words, the streets are a bootleg version of the mafia. Adopted concepts that has no morals from the beginning. Most of us, glorify crime so much, we forget everything it cost. For a certain percentage of people it's clear-cut. For one, they always only come from a couple positions. Which is always the most popular position. Which causes people to run around with undeveloped ideas.

The perspective they never seem to come from, is the" I replace you and you replace me". Which means, if I take your case, you have to make sure my family is taken care of. These people do not seem to honor this now. So who hold those people responsible. Whether you told on somebody or left someone family hanging. Who is actually more foul between the two?

What happened to taking responsibility and being accountable? This is the only reason why, the concept of snitch came into play. This game is about people who wanted to do what they wanted, and not have to pay for any of it. How can you seriously trust anybody who don't want to hold their own weight.

Even though, snitching is put at the forefront. It so much more than that. In my personal opinion it is a unorganized system. It is a system that was built for selfishness.

Seriously, since" Sammy the Bull" loyalty haven't been the same worldwide. Most Street people believe Sammy violated.. Some people felt like they would have did the same thing. That's one situation no one wants to be in.

Do you ever wonder what make people follow those rules. Have those Street rules ever worked? I mean , I know they've worked one time or another. But have it worked on a grand scale. I would have to say no.

Just like 69 tekashi situation, that was not a surprise. Everyone knew that situation didn't look perfect. It was no way this light skinned cat was running this crew. It did not take a genius to figure that out. I just couldn't figure out how he was pulling it off. His downfall was he overdid it. I don't see why anybody want to hear anything from him.

I'm not going to sit here, and act like snitching is only for the streets. A lot of different walks of life don't like snitches. But what are the real reasons? If you bring it down, is only going to point out selfish reasons. You do things by yourself to keep people out your business. You don't do anything you don't want seen. Why give somebody a reason to say they saw you do anything.

This situation been going on centuries. Is wild how we allow other people to control us. Though the hate against snitching is justified, is also confusion. Because it's a thin line between snitching and telling the truth.

Throughout history no one likes the tattletale. What happens tothe person that always get away from the crime. what happens to the one that never takes responsibility for something real that happened. Always justifying their actions by not doing saying anything? I believe that's why I so many serial killers now. Looking the other way has its consequences.

Anyway if this how the game is going to be played; we shouldn't give anyone passes. Maybe we need to go back to the table and negotiate. We need to draw clear lines on what is what. Other than that we are allowing molesters and other heinous people to run around.

Then, you got to think about all the times a person was blamed but really innocent. What should you think about the people that let those innocent people, rot. How about the people the falsely call other people snitches.

I guess when is no true system anything can happen. Do you know how many people got life because people chose to look the other way. The innocent bystanders are usually the ones that catch the short end of the rope. People are tortured and trapped in their own neighborhoods; when these things occur.
