What Being Ignored By Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy Taught Me - Isbae U
Isbae U opens up

Nigerian interviewer and media personality Isbae U is opening up during a new interview with Lucky Udu about some failures he has encountered during the course of his career. Among the failures, Isbae U opened up about how he has failed to get any of the Big 3 (Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy) for an interview on his show Curiosity Made Me Ask. He also opened up about how these failures have affected him, and advised other young people too with lessons from his own failures. Here's what Isbae U had to say.

During the interview, Isbae U was asked "I'm curious. Are there things you've tried in your life that did not succeed before now?" to which he said:
ISBAE U: I don't think this is news anymore. I've tried music—it's everywhere. For some reason, it didn't work out yet. You understand? And it's not working out now, too.
"Did you give up completely?"
ISBAE U: I mean, I still sing when I want to bathe or take a shower. I sing, but professionally, I don't do music anymore. And I've also tried so many things. I've tried having a collaboration with Wizkid, I've tried bringing Davido for my interview—I failed at that. Burna Boy is also yet to reply to me; I failed at that, too. I failed at so many things, but I thank God that there's something working, at least.
"Alright. So with all of your experience and everything that's happened to you, including the disappointments, what advice would you like to give to young Nigerian youth aspiring to achieve something?"
ISBAE U: Fail as many times as I have, but there is something that is yours that you will definitely win at, and I pray everyone out there finds their own thing. I'm doing my own thing, and I would be lying if I said there are no obstacles in what I do. But I know all I have to do is just keep trying, keep doing my best, and God will handle the rest. So the only thing is just know failure is part of the process. That's it.
